Good morning! The coffee always tastes a bit sweeter the morning after a DOMINATING win. Good thing the Hokies got back on track yesterday with no bone headed turnovers, good solid tackling, a strong running game and a starting quarterback who definitely did not look like he got concussed right before he fumbled the ball. And it's relaxing when you're able to put an inferior opponent away early so you can get quality snaps to your backup quarterback, which you shouldn't really NEED to do since your starter never unnecessarily puts his body and brain at risk.
Anyway, last week was a bit nuts in the Fuller household but I'm BACK to answer all your important questions about...whatever, really. Leave them in the comments and I'll put a mailbag out later in the week.

Ummmm, might I ask just what was in that sweet-tasting coffee that you had this morning?
... Definitely "sugar"
Covfefe
Victory. At least, that's what it said in Sharpie on the plastic baggie it came in.
Cocaine is a hell of a drug
What is the objectively best chore and why?
This starts and stops with mowing your lawn. Hands down, one of the now satisfying feelings is looking across a well mowed lawn. And then playing on it, with the kids.
What is the best method of cooking meat over an open volcano that minimizes the loss of life and property.
Wrapping it in high temp steel wire braid and then lowering it until the wire starts to glow and then back off until it cools down. Rinse repeat until proper charring and then bring up, rotate and repeat until proper doneness. Just wear heat resistant gloves.
Has anyone developed a pan that produces only center brownie type brownies? Asking for a friend with unreasonable expectations about the functional capacities of bakeware.
That is a wonderful idea. Does anyone else feel particularly offended by the concept of "only sides" brownie pans? Why ruin an entire pan of brownies like that?
Yes! This makes zero sense why would you want all the worst pieces of things, that's like selling muffin bottoms and throwing away the tops.
I like the side brownies too, but you're right.
You mean pans that allow you to eat the best parts over and over again? pure genius!

There
That's the exact opposite of what is requested.
Okay so work-shopping ideas. What about a brownie pan that is an orb on a little stand? the stand has a pan under it to provide stability and catch droppings. If the batter can be stuck to the outside of the orb, the only part that ends up with any sort of edge is the part touching the stand?
Make a market out of selling various implements to cut brownies off an orb?
Or just stick the batter to a rotating spit like the meat for a gyro at Souvlaki's.
neither of these ideas will work because brownies are made of batter and not dough. the consistency is all wrong and it'll never stay
What about an apparatus that would create a parchment paper "hammock"?
Or sous vide brownies! This is probably the best option.
sous vide brownies with a reverse sear
So...underbaking your brownies is totally a thing. In fact, I recommend it for the consistency that you are looking for. You may also want to consider lowering the oven temp. No special pan required!
Have you ever done a spit-take, and if so what was the context?
Antonio Brown doesn't finish the season on anyone's roster: true or false?
Will VT have a hurricane game this year? Who will the opponent be and will they have the guts to play us in the rain?
Please let it be UNC.
Gosh, I sure hope they haven't fixed their hurricane/rain game.
What do you say to the "fans" if they disrespected your brothers in the way this year's players have been treated so far? What do your brothers say? What does Mama Fuller say?
What is the best college mascot of all time excluding the Hokie Bird?
The best other than the Hokie Bird was, of course, the Fighting Gobbler.
What is the worst college mascot
The Stanford Tree, and 2nd place isn't even close. Just so stupid and cheap looking on so many levels.
A train is headed east @ 80 mph and another is headed west @ 55 mph on the same track. Does this summarize Hokie Hype at this particular time?
Only if they are headed away from each other.
Question #1 - was this thread intended to be posted on September 13, 2009?
Question #2 - Is the program identity crisis and winning ways at all related to the business turnover in downtown Blacksburg, or is it just coincidence? We were rocking the ACC until the Summer of 2012 when Gumby's shut down, we go from finishing 11-3 previous season to 7-6, and the program hasn't been the same since.
Question #2. I can't stop thinking about this. It can't be a coincidence...
It's Gumby, Dammit.
Question #2: Mike's closes down late August 2016. Not in time to affect the 2016 season. It was so damn good that the 2017 season managed to be alright. But two years with no Mike's? 2018 sees a rapid decline. 2019 and the beef isn't there.

Your response last go round was too good not make this a recurring theme:
F**k/marry/kill: Manny Diaz, Bronco Mendenhall, and Mack Brown.
Who would you rather have at running back? Benny Hill the actor or David Wilson?
Would a David Wilson sized rabbit be able to catch a rabbit sized David Wilson?
If you had a boat what would you name it?
I did not drink any whiskey on Saturday and the Hokies still won. How is that possible?
Hokienation thanks you for your abstinence the rest of this season (and possibly your life.)
How great will it be when the 5-6 hokies ruin the hoos 11-0 season in Lane North this year?
bittersweet because 6-6 probably loses the bowl streak :(
based on our team and schedule I believe that is inevitable unfortunately...
Exactly how many shakes can you use before you cross the line from shaking it to playing with it?
(I have 6 and 7 yo boys and this is a constant topic of discussion)
LOL and Zima are an obvious paring. What alcoholic beverage best represents the other teams on our schedule?
What's the board game of choice at the Fuller household? And which of the five fullers usually wins?
