"I felt like it was best for me, and I also feel like I rushed my commitment," James told recruit757 Sunday evening.'
James offered no further details about the schools currently recruiting him or what campus visits he might take now that he is considering other schools. Before his commitment to North Carolina, James had a prominent collection of college scholarship offers including Virginia Tech, Virginia, Michigan, Auburn, Pitt, East Carolina, Rutgers, and Nebraska.
Lamareon is close to Maury wide receiver KeAndre Lambert and there are whispers that they could decide to commit together. Lambert has a massive offer list and there are many duplicate schools between the two. Virginia Tech is seen as a favorite to land Lambert, and a commitment by both players to the Hokies would be a huge win for Zohn Burden, who recruits the area for Tech.

What a win that would be to grab both, especially with Penn State targeting Lambert hard.

Lambert and James are cousins, I believe.
sounds like a law firm. haha
Powell, Lambert, & James LLP.
It would be cooler if they both committed.
Alright
Alright
Alright!
This is Excellent TKPing right here!
Lamareon pls
What is this??? Hope on TKP??? It's been so long..
Don't do it to yourself, man.
What is our record when Joe posts about recruits?
Better than when we post "[insert recruit's name] pls"
gobble gobble chumps pls
With our recent history of losing top Virginia players to out of state programs, it doesn't seem likely we would land Lambert. He has a very impressive offer list, and we are well behind those top programs in recruiting. If by some stroke of luck we do get him, that would be a huge for our program, especially if he drags along his basketball playing friend.
Crystal Ball says Hokies.

This will be forever the best 13 seconds clip...
LaMareon and KeAndre committing together would be a huge win for a class that up to this point is left wanting. Would be a huge win for Fuente and the staff to really get some players of note in.
And if LA's hinting they can nab Powell too? Huge power move for the Hokies.
Using 247's Class Calculator, and adding those three you mention, would at the moment give the Hokies 178 points. That would move us from 72 to 41.
which is still... not good. smaller class size matters, but i guess it would need to be seen how the numbers shake out
41 is a whole hell of a lot better than 70.
i agree, but 41 still isn't good. having said that, going from terrible to barely serviceable in a key area of weakness is what puts some teams or players over the hump, so it is a big deal to go from 72 to 41.
in terms of ranking, class size matters. it remains to be seen whether they'd just be tacked onto what appears to be a smaller class and the numbers work later, or whether some of the commits we have now would no longer be takes if these three commit, etc etc etc.
We can say 41 isn't good enough, but Wisconsin had a few classes in the high 30s/low 40s the last few years and I'd take Wisconsin's team over ours every day of the week.
I wouldn't be surprised if the difference between #20 and #41 is similar to the difference between #15 and #20 based on avg star rating.
the math checks out here
I'd just focus more on average player rating since the class size is somewhat kneecapped by scholarship numbers.
Who is this powell I keep seeing mentioned?
