Damn, twenty years ago. Where does the time go.

Phenomenal video, got me tearin' up and shit listening to Frank.

Good. God. Chills.

We put the K in Kwality

Man, that team was loaded.

I'm glad I lived that season! So many good memories! We rocked GameDay and quite frankly made it what it is today.

"Take care of the little things and the big things will come."

Shut up! I'm not crying, you're crying!

My dad started buying season tickets in 1999 (I think he heard the rumbling about a special redshirt freshman quarterback). That season feels so recent and so far away at the same time. So much has changed in these 20 years, but the love for Hokie football will always be the same. I'm excited to attend another game with my dad and celebrate the '99 team this weekend!

Still my favorite uniform we've ever had! That season was so special. My first year at VT and I was fortunate enough to be able to go to every home game, the UVA game and the Sugar Bowl. The scene after the BC game was just so amazing. I remember it like it was yesterday.

I don't know what a Hokie is, but God is one of them!

Athletic Department f'd up by not having the team wear these for this game (or at some point during the season)

Back then we had multiple All-Americans in the starting lineup and our 3 deep was loaded.

We'll need a few top-15 recruiting classes to get back to that level.

I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me.

I still will never understand how the coaches went from that team and NC run to classes ranked in the 30's or worse for next few years. Also Tech's best ever recruiting class I can find is 18.

Wet stuff on the red stuff.

I don't know about you guys but man oh man do I miss those dark maroon uniforms...guys flying to the ball...lineman just imposing their will...d backs ball hawking...confidence...and those Corey Moore eyes...I was a freshman that year..even kept a mouthpiece and a chunk of dirt/grass from the field rush that's in my man cave. I'll never forget Sorensen coming out of the meeting room after the game with a fat cigar in his mouth. If we could just get 3/4 of that back....all I can do is hope...let's go!!!

HOKIES!

The feels!!!!

Lest we forget...remember this

Let's Go

HOKIES

Well I'm ready to run through a wall, thank you

Never Forget #1 Overall Seed UVA 54, #64 UMBC 74

Loved this, good way to start a morning! And a good message to remember "we're all in this together"

Practicing our motto, ut prosim, or, "that I may serve," is imperative in recognizing what it means to be part of the Hokie family.

I approve

"Oh my God.... They're gonna take all our recruits... like WTF bro...."

The first thing I noticed when watching this video is how much Corso has aged. It's no secret that he hasn't been the same since his stroke, but watching him on Gameday this season has been rough. I hope he retires soon.

Man great memories....made it to every home game and the games in M'town and C'ville. Went to the Sugar Bowl and got engaged the day of the game to my wife of now 19 years. Back then we all went into every game expecting to win and win big. Dominating, attacking defense and of course our super star freshman QB but I think people sometimes forget about all the other offensive weapons we had. We could and did score about anyway you could imagine. Seems so long ago compared with how things too frequently go these days. Maybe someday.......

A ton of talent on that team and a nasty defense.

We could run the ball and did!

The video's great...but they couldn't have put in Shayne Graham's kick against WVU?

I was waiting for that moment too! Without that kick, things look very different for the 1999 team.
