We haven't posted a shutout since September 22, 2012 against Bowling Green last year and that defense was no where near this year's unit. We typically get about one shutout game per year and I know its harder against conference opponents than cupcake teams....but 38-0 bro!...
Its senior day this weekend and I know there are a whole bunch of seniors on this years outstanding defensive unit that would love to play their last home game in Lane Stadium by shuting out Maryland in their last year in the ACC. And then how awesome would it be to shut out your rival in your last regular season game to claim a #decadeofdominance...Shoot, then how awesome would be to shutout the famous jameis and his heisman hopes while simultaneously crushing FSU's acc and nc tite hopes just the way they crushed ours in one fell swoop!... but i digress...

I'd like to add that I also think from a logical sense, a shutout against Maryland is possible given their recent offensive struggles and the fact that 'Cuse just held them to a meager 3 pts (and even that was a gift)

I don't think there is a Hokie on this board that wouldn't want that. But if you think that FSU is getting shut out; I'd like a sip of whatever is in your glass this morning. First things first, lets win against Maryland; cheer on Miami to win (even typing that is hard) against Duke, then beat UVA.
A little bailey's with coffee helps. I admit I got ahead of myself with that post...but I can always dream. I'd rather cheer for GT to win tomorrow night so we can cheer for both Duke and Miami to lose to each other on Saturday. Cheers!
I want to shut out LOLUVA. EDIT: I want a shutout EVERY game, but I'm willing to accept just want a solid win against Maryland.

I'd love to see a shutout and a blocked punt for TD in this game, that would make my week.
As much as I hate UVA, I'd rather have the shutout on UMD...a lot of MD fans were real high and mighty and giving us a lot of grief when they were beating WVU and we went into 3OT with Marshall, so I'd love to see us lay the smack down this week.
They will get theirs over the next 10 years in the Big 10. Although, that league is terrible, so who knows.

A shutout on senior day, a GT loss, and a Duke loss would make for a great weekend. LOLVA tickets are not very cheap on stubhub for the VT game but I say we fill it with maroon everything.
