New Helmet for Maryland Game?!?

Appears to be matte orange helmet. Anyone know anything about this?

Those are our Orange Bowl helmets from the year we played Stanford. You can see some reflection of the lights in the stripe.

You have sharper eyes than I do...guess I'm so used to the changing uniforms/helmets so much that I just kind of saw it quickly and assumed it was new. Maybe it is reflection of the lights, but the orange looks more like a matte finish than the shiny orange helmets from the orange bowl, and there don't appear to be maroon stripes like the OB helmets had. Again, probably reflection and too much staring at a computer screen for one day.

i think it's just the reflection. they have that same combination in merriman near the coaches office. it was like that at the spring game

Hey, I kinda like the orange/maroon/white look.

I have no idea why my username is VT_Warthog.

There are actually two versions of the Orange helmet.

The Orange Bowl helmet had helmet stripes that went maroon-white-maroon:
