I'd say 3-1 if this Michigan - ND score holds. I know it doesn't matter for the coastal but the last thing I want is us facing an angry, focused ND team that just got blown out in a big game. Usually the "overlooked" or "unfocused" factor plays a big role in big upsets. I know our chances aren't great either way but I feel like those chances are even slimmer if ND is coming off a blowout.
But yeah, in terms of coastal standings, it's a perfect weekend.

To go from national championship aspirations to just getting bowl eligible is a huge step down. They can get bowl eligible in any of the remaining games.

Nothing else left for ND to play for, crying fans, and maybe Brian Kelly has lost the locker room and we'll see ND players exiting for the portal. Sounds familiar except this loss was at the UM big house, and I haven't heard of ND payers attacking teammates or coaches after the game. Guessing it will still be a pretty big uphill battle for VT next week against a down ND team

Hm. I knew we had rooting interests this weekend but it wasn't until I saw this thread, then checked the scoreboard, that I realized that we did come out on top this week.
With another weekend of nonconference competition, we may be in good shape when we face off against Wake.

See: Rally in Raleigh. We were all tracking the game while at my cousin's wedding. My sister was feeling really good about getting a win over all of the family Hokies (about 6 of us in attendance). Then DW4 & TT5 happened.

I live in Winston Salem. I went to that game last night. The most impressive thing I took away from the visit was the alcohol sales. I want to know what the total revenue brought in by this is. $8.00 for 16 oz. Domestic. $10.00 for Craft, Import, Wine Spritzers and Sparkling Sh*t. There were about 20 beer stands throughout the stadium. Decent selection. Can only buy 1 per transaction, they open it at the beer stand. This needs to happen at Lane. I'm positive the profits would help the Scholarship Fund.
