He has a minimum NBA contract and a roster spot on the Wizards. He can still be sent down to the G League which is common practice for end of rotation rookies.

Robinson is eligible to play G-League games until his third season in the NBA while still maintaining his Wizards roster spot. So far through 8 games for the Wizards, he has gotten into 3 games for a total of 12 minutes and scored 6 points.
