Stats for Liberty for their first 3 games:
Liberty is a more mature team. They beat Norfolk State in their first game 67-48. Lost to ETSU 62-63 and lost to Chattanooga 54-71. Liberty is shooting 40% overall and 24% from 3. They have outrebounded their opposition by 10 per game. Their starters do seem to be foul prone with 3 players averaging 3+ fouls per game. One of those averages 4 fouls per game. Gulley is averaging 5 assists.
Tech should have a height advantage and probably a skill advantage in this one. But who knows this early in the season.

Well that was uncomfortably close. Our girls took a 12 point lead into the 4th and Liberty made a run and got as close as 61-62. Didn't do great on free throw at the end but made just enough. Final score: 73-69.
The way the refs called the game really favored Liberty. I don't think the calls were one-sided; but they definitely favored Liberty's style of play. They called a lot of marginal charges on both teams, But they did not call any fouls under the basket where Liberty used their weight advantage on both offense and defense. Kitley is going to have to be stronger both in holding onto the ball and holding her position in ACC play. Good learning experience for the girls and they escaped with the W.

I'm shocked Falwell allows them to play wearing those jerseys. Playing Liberty in any sport is still Whit's biggest failure as an AD, and the fact our P5 football team is actually playing a game on that

Jerry Jr really is a dick though and currently employs an AD who covered up rapes at Baylor and a head coach who set up recruits with hookers at Ole Miss. we should not legitimize that athletic department by playing them in anything.

Or some folks know there's more to life than sports, and pay attention to what's really going on in Lynchburg, but you are right, this is TKP and we aren't supposed to pay attention to that stuff, regardless of how offensive it may be to us as individuals.
