During the late time-out, when they showed Izzy yelling and scribbling in a panic, and then showed CMY sitting calmly, settling the team down, I felt his calm through the TV. Just knew we had our coach and a HOKIE win then.

keep in mind the clemson game was kind of close near the end. I think that helped to teach our young team to keep their composure down the stretch. nothing but kudos not folding.

This is a great gif considering it was from last season, because those 5 (Kabongo, Horne, Wilkins, Bede, Palmer) are the only 5 non-redshirts we returned. With the 5 starters above them on the depth chart from last year all gone, it's their team now (granted Kabongo is hurt and Palmer is a walk on). Those guys got some good experience and had some good guys to learn from. You can see the improvements from Horne and Bede already.

Picked pretty much to finish last in our own conference this year with a cupboard that was bare after Buzz left. We're 6-0 after knocking off Izzo's crew ranked 3rd in the nation (never easy). I'd say Babcock got it right. Welcome home Mike Young!

They showed Caesars odds for the men's bball championship during the game and MSU were the best odds. They don't really honestly have that much more size than us (if you count Ojiako), I looked before the game. So how can they be odds on faves for the national championship, but we don't have any size and can't compete against the Dooks and Carolina's? I think the way we're crashing the boards is scheme-driven and going to account for some of our size-differential.
