Well this is a bit of a nutty read. This doesn't sound like the workings of a healthy football community there, and I certainly hope our football community is better than this.

That part of the story in particular doesn't add up to me. Josh Reyes says he talks to Dan Quinn who tells him to talk to Thomas Dimitroff for more info about it. But Reyes doesn't follow up with Dimitroff until he runs into him a week later and the additional info is him saying that it was bs?
I mean... that's not more info. Also Reyes outright says one of the reasons he's coming out with the story is to promote his art business. So that's kinda strange.

I mean, how many sides to this story do we really need to hear? Andre Williams' own telling of events don't cast himself in a good light. Not that that excuses BC for totally going off the rails in response.

Honestly Addazio went about it in a pretty petty way (probably should have just called personally) but as the head coach and supposed leader of that program, why the hell would you want someone at your games that is publicly running your name through the mud? And then the audacity to ask for tickets to the game? If you're not with the program you're against it so while the way he went about proving a point was childish, I think this actually just makes the player look like a whiny bitch
I will say though, calling a professional sports team to bitch about a players social media interactions tells you everything you need to know about where his priorities are. Hope he never had plans of making the jump to coaching in the NFL 😬
Calling the Falcons and attempting to get him cut is an all-time dick move and deserves to be ridiculed and shamed.
As it reads, yeah dick move. I only wonder about the untold holes in the story. I cant believe there are security people looking for any one particular guy that may have liked something on the internet.

I hate to try and make Narduzzi look better, and I could be completely wrong, but from what I've seen everything he does is about on field crap. Complains and whines about calls and such. He hasnt talked down to female reporters, he doesn't teach dangerous techniques, he complements the other team even if it pains him to do so. With stuff like this coming out, if true, Addazio blows right past Narduzzi on the asshole coaches list. He's up there with Fedora and Paul Johnson.
Except Paris Ford repeatedly hit our players in the head area this year and was ejected for targeting. After the game, Narduzzi whined about it being a terrible call. Secondly, Narduzzi whined that our WRs pushed off all game and that the refs cost them the game in 2016.
Fair point about Ford but I haven't noticed his other players doing that consistently so hard to tell if taught, or could just be ignoring Fords technique which is not great too, but I don't know.
For his whining it's annoying and not a great look, but to me there is a large difference between complaining about refs in a news conference and trying to get a former player fired. Or belittling female reporters because they are female.

It's a two way street though. Addazio didn't want him near the program but he was using his name to recruit.
I know a recruit who went to a camp that Adazio was running and he acted like a dick to every recruit there. This kids parents told me they weren't sure how he ever convinced anyone to play for him.
BTW, it was a big time recruit we really wanted. So we aren't talking about kids no one wants.

so youre telling me. that after all this trying to get tickets to the game and being denied (which also sounds far fetched to me players can put any name they want on their ticket request they get so many tickets per game and anything over each allotted they trade/ buy/ exchange with other players who don't have family coming to that game) BC sent some employees outside of the stadium before the game to sort through a crowd of 60+ K fans looking for this one guy to make sure he doesn't buy tickets and get in the stadium? rightttttt OK. miss me with that one bud. I just don't believe it. sorry. Travon hill was at the marshall game last year, he was currently trashing VT football on twitter and we couldn't stop him from getting in the stadium. I'm sure FU didn't want him there.
after reading that I really wondered how much the rest of his story is true. or if BC really went to that extent because of what a former player posts on facebook that would just be CRAZY to me. (yall thought we needed to do more for our past alumni huh?) maybe they don't like donzi and theyre trying to smear his name or happy to see him go and to be honest we really don't know what happened here but there HAS to be more to this story than what keyes is saying.

i tried to give the benefit of the doubt and stadium size. even so whos looking through 30k people for one person to tell them they cant come through the gate. like ive always believed if you were got "banned" from a stadium you just don't use your name to buy the tickets and walk right in. if you don't get in trouble again you don't get caught. if you do get in trouble they up whatever charge or add a charge of trespassing because you've been banned. but they cant keep you out. there aint a banned persons list at each gate for the ticket scanner to look at and check off. I just don't see it.
Oh I agree with your point for sure, just lol'd at the 60+ K. I did a search before I posted and and think wiki had the home attendance around 35k on average.
