I seriously hope this guy gets his life figured out. He has a strong leg and has proven he can be a good kicker but his head just isn't in the right place.
I still say we should've gotten rid of him earlier this year, but that's not my call. Whatever happened, glad to see that Frank is taking the high road.
But guys....this is bad news for our kicking game. Can AJ kick field goals?

I can't belie.... Well, unfortunately, I CAN believe this happened... Time and time again, this kid messed up off (and on) the field. At the end of the day, life is more important than football. With that being said, I hope this kid gets his life together, things get much tougher out in the real world.

Ok I've heard multiple rumors about the reasons of his suspensions and now ultimately his dismissal... Does anyone have any inside knowledge on the exactly what he's involved in?

That's what I've heard too, I just didn't know if anyone was for sure or not. It's alright though, this football team is better without all that. Even if that means throwing a punter in their to kick. Our program needs to stay free of that garbage.

I'm not gonna crucify a guy for hanging out with cheerleaders, although the writing on the wall was there for this guy and his respect and commitment (or lack thereof) to the team and the game.
Unfortunately, this is BAD news for us. Having bad flashbacks to the Sugar Bowl. Hopefully the O has turned a corner after the Miami game because if we need to rely on getting to the endzone every drive, that seems like a dicey proposition.

Erroneous, they need to start putting the other team's top players on the tickets. Just put the Hokiebird on the ticket with them, that way he's utilized & never ends up on a helmet again.

Honestly, I have wondered all year why Ludwig hasn't been given a chance at place kicking. Saw him play at Abingdon and remember him kicking a couple of 40-plus yarders with ease.

The only surprising thing here is that it didn't happen earlier or during the offseason. I was really rooting for him to get his ducks in a row but I hope this brings him to turn things around.

Well, Scott better get some short yardage plans ramped up. Also, choose red zone plays carefully where the offense can get into short yardage on 4th down. I heard we have a walk on kicking in practice now. Cody was let off to easy each time he made a mistake and it's finally caught up to him. Does Cody lose his academic scholarship as well?
