Honestly, he does this every time he beats a team with a new coach. It's condescending and people praise him for it. Bizarre
He has all the praise in the world for people who don't beat him.
That's OK, because Mike Young has a fix for that.
I'm with you on this. Some of what "K" said probably was genuine, but the real motivation for saying it is to play to the national media and promote himself and Duke. He puts on a rather masterful facade. I've heard plenty of first-hand stories from college coaches and players that expose K's true character. No doubt he is a great coach and he is a great mentor to his players; just not sure he cares about much else than that.
