With only three weeks left and VT on a bye week, its time to sit back with a malty beverage or 6 and enjoy the other team's highs and lows. More drama is coming, as the night games are sneaky good. If this feels brief or hastily put together, it's because it is. #beercontrolfather had to earn some scratch this week on the road.

5 Oregon -20.5 at Arizona ~~ 3:30 pm ABC or ESPN2

• How to beat Oregon, own the line of scrimmage. Looks over DickRod's team, at least its basketball season for the Wildcats
• Watch the Ducks closely in the coming weeks, even in though they are back in the Rose Bowl driver's seat, I see cracks in Mark Helfrich's Oregon foundation

Pick: Oregon covering the spread by a half point, but I wouldnt be surprised if Arizona made a game of it.

(19) Wisconsin -15.5 at Minnesota ~~ 3:30 pm ESPN

• Going to say it now, coaching: Gary Andersen > Bret Bielema, however personality and being a dick goes a long way in college coaching. Here's to Gary stepping up his game soon
• I love when bad programs have good seasons (except for uva of course) ... makes you feel really good for their fan bases. They'll take this loss in stride. Reminds me of 1993

Pick: Minnesota getting the points, maybe with a late backdoor cover.

• LSU's superb defense got the better of JFF last season. This isn't the same unit and Manziel is better and vengeful, I'm feeling a 40+ point Aggie explosion
• Les Miles unpredictability, off the cuff shenanigans hasnt occurred this season. Without it, hes just another coach Les, were waiting!

Pick: aTm getting the points, winning outright.

(17)Arizona State -2.5 at 14UCLA ~~ 7:00 pm FOX

• UCLAs Myles Jack, (t-freshman) is good at the running back, but he starts at linebacker. Two studs don't come around very often. Next year he'll likely only field 1 position, so watch him now
• If the Sun Devils lose to UCLA, there could very well be a 3-way tie for the Pac 12 South with UCLA and USC going into the final week of the season

Pick: UCLA getting the points and winning outright. I like this homedog.

• You think youre S-E-C, Mizzou? Welcome to the meat grinder. You want Bama in the ATL, beat Ole Miss and aTm in back2back weeks and make us believers
• Ole Miss hiccupped vs Bama, Auburn and aTm (not a bad loss in there,) other than that they handled business quite well. Win out, best 3 loss team in the country?

Pick: Ole Miss, getting points, winning as well.

• Since I am now 40 and qualified as a man, I'll tell it like is Mike Gundy, a beat down is coming. Hell, the Bears might even spot you two touchdowns before demoralizing you
• Speaking of men, Art Briles is a made man. His contract extension through 2023 at $4 million per season, just handed the Longhorns another loss

Pick: Baylor laying the points. Yes, I know they should be due for a loss, but I need to see a defense capable of stopping their offense first.
