This is one of the strangest situations I have ever seen. He is healthy and goes to the games but isn't playing. I thought maybe he was considering a transfer, but the timing seems strange and his behavior on the bench doesn't indicate that. I thought maybe he was protesting CJB's suspension, but he didn't return on MOnday. Anyone have any other idea what could be going on? Is he even practicing with the team. We need some depth at PG, and he could be critical for us later in the season.

Not sure but they are saying its "personal reasons". I say if you are healthy then you either play or go.

At this rate he won't be starting when we do decide to play him. Smith and Wilson seem to be playing really well.
He will be back when he is ready to be back. If anything, you twiterers and such should 'show him some love' and let him know that Hokie nation stands behind him. Kid has been through a lot.

I'm not bashing him, just generally curious. I would think a serious illness or death in the family would have been made public by now. Best of luck to him getting through whatever it is though.
I'm pretty sure I said nothing about you bashing him. You asked a legitimate question and I was providing an answer. The part about twitter was both playful jab at some of the threads earlier this year about football recruits and social media and I was also being serious because I really think he could use some encouragement from the fan base. When people reach out to someone going through hard time, I think it's nice for that person to know others care about them.
Thanks for playing the guy in the know that has angst for someone asking a legitimate question that has been posted by several members now. The OP here wasn't criticizing him but was naturally curious why a player on a team devoid of experience has one of the few players with experience sitting out with no announcement from the school. We tweeters could show some love if we had any idea what was going on....
I've heard he was upset he lost his starting job to Wilson and decided not to play (believe I saw that on TKP)
