The Big 12 will get involved. No way they let a guy pick up a weapon, another guy fight a staffer on the sidelines, and that many punches get thrown.
The male cheerleaders were in there breaking it up. I wouldn't mess with those guys - they are super strong and can do back flips!

So any idea on what serious punishments will actually stem from this whole thing. How small of a slap will the jayhawks get from the NCAA?
All players involved will get a HUGE suspension, one game. The player with the chair will get a MASSIVE UNPRECEDENTED suspension of two games.
Common sense would suggest the kid with the chair should get the rest of the season off, but it's Kansas, so probably not.
I'm not expecting much honestly. The NCAA is dysfunctional, the Big 12 wants their premier program, and Kansas has too much money at stake. Maybe a handful of rolling 4-game suspensions at best.
Kansas St - nobody cares about them, and I'm sure the kid in khakis that left the bench is going to get the worst punishment of all just because he left the bench.
Given the current notice of allegations...perhaps this will get a little more attention than usual from the Kansas admin....they will step up and do the right thing...they will become the standard for fair play and amateur athletic ideals

I knew that was going to come up - didn't want to go there. I'd argue that punching someone and raising a chair to hit someone is a little worse than tripping someone on the court.
