Tech Advances to the Elite Eight with a 1-1 (3-1) win over Santa Clara on PKs. Colpitts came up with huge saves throughout the game and three saves during the penalty kicks. Tech will host it's first ever Elite Eight game against Duke, who won on penalty kicks as well against Arkansas.

Considering it is about 25 degrees or so, I'm not surprised that game was as sloppy as it was, but she came up huge. I really hope she has been showing the girls behind her how it's done because she is probably one of the best we've ever had in Blacksburg.

Also, so far the ACC as a whole is doing pretty good, Notre Dame is the only team to have lost and that was to a seeded Michigan team.

I'm not entirely positive, but I'm pretty sure if we beat Duke (damn we get rid of these guys can we) we play the winner of BC/FSU, which FSU has been a thorn in the side this year.
