WBB vs Boston College

The Ladies play Boston College at BC tonight at 7PM. The game is on ACCNx. BC is 10-8, 3-4 ACC. Their losses in ACC are at Duke, NC State(#8), LOLUVA, and Louisville(#5). They also lost at #22 Northwestern. Their ACC wins are at Pitt, at Notre Dame and at Georgia Tech.

The Hokies should match up well with BC heightwise. BC has not been an especially good shooting team in ACC play; but they have played 3 ranked ACC teams. They shoot 41% overall and 31% from 3, while allowing 44% and 37%. They average 13 assists and 17 turnovers per game. Two of their five starters are averaging over 3 fouls per game; but they have 10 players playing regular minutes in ACC play.

Dickens is the primary threat from 3 shooting 42% on 21 of 50 shots. Garraud is the other threat from 3 shooting 33%. BC is not an offensive powerhouse averaging just 65 points in ACC play. Scoring is pretty balanced with three starters averaging 13 pts/gm and the other two close to 10. The Hokies may have the height and defense inside to cause problems for BC. This is one Tech should win.
