I haven't been to see the Hokies at Lane North since '97 and I was considering going this year. Based on the performances of both teams this year, I was wondering what would be the best approach to obtaining cheap tickets?
Are there going to be plenty of folks selling outside on Gameday? If there's usually plenty of people holding 10-15 minutes, I'll feel pretty good about picking up some tickets without spending too much.

I grew up in charlottesville. When I was younger someone gave me a uva sweatshirt. One year, I wore that sweatshirt to the game, scalped tickets for cheap and then pulled off the sweatshirt to reveal my Tech clothing and threw away the uva sweatshirt...All in front of the guy I just bought the tickets off of...seeing his face was priceless.
The tip-off was that you were actually buying tickets.....not the VT clothes.
