What does this mean? I know IMG has been a sponsor forever. Good? Bad? Meh?
If it's just for ticket sales, its a meh in my book. That's fighting a losing battle.
If they tend to help with donations, then it's a different story.
That announcement is a lot of word vomit to say nothing more than 'we signed an agreement!'
They say it'll help with the fan experience but doesn't actually say how, so I am a little skeptical. Seems like every time I've seen a company partner with a company for exclusive ticketing rights, the end result is lacking for the end user.
