Not a bad idea, that. I actually love old bay seasoning.

Definitely something I'm going to try. Sounds amazing.

The only thing more Maryland would be them getting their hot sauce brand from the transfer portal...

i heard their website crashed when all the maryland drivers riding the shoulder tried to cut over at the same time

I'd buy it.

Bob: What would ya say ya do here?

Brad: I already told you! I iron out the minutiae so Justin doesn't have to. I have people skills dammit! What the hell is wrong with you people?

Yes please

Toss that in some Natty Bo and you've got Baltimore breakfast.

"When I was growing up, Virginia Tech was a school that was kicking ass and taking names, and it's time we get back to that" - James Franklin

I've done the bohtini in a glass without the crab and its better than you'd expect

I haven't had a bohtini (or a natty boh for that matter) since I moved to South Carolina 4 years ago. To say the picture inspired a craving is an understatement of unparalleled proportions.

I would root for the Russians before I would root for Virginia.

OMG THAT LOOKS LIKE HEAVEN 🤤🤤🤤

Sadly Natty Boh isn't even local anymore. It's brewed by Pabst and shipped in.

There was another brewer trying to bring National Premium back and was local, but I haven't seen it in a while.

At least it still tastes like shit... and I say that affectionately.

I'll be making my compulsory purchase of that stuff when they stock the grocery store supply.

Yes, put that on your spiral cut potatoes with a side of Natty Boh or Orange Crush and a crabcake, a coddie, with a smith island cake, berger cookies, and otterbein cookies for dessert.

Am I Marylanding hard enough?

Just be sure to not use your turn signal, cut everyone off, and ditch your car on the side of the interstate while you are on your way to make your purchases. /quasi-S

I wish people made a bigger deal of Orange Crushes. Those things are such a Baltimore thing to me and it's amazing. I grew up in Jersey on Old Bay and think it's a little over played in MD. Natty Boh is cooking beer, go to one of the other awesome breweries.

No egg custard snowball or lemon peppermint stick. Maryland harder.

Never had either of those. Will have to try them

I haven't fallen in love with them like a lot of Baltimore natives. I think it's a nostalgia thing passed down, but those were some of the first things I was told about when I moved here.

Women everywhere dancing! My wife is all over this, guess I won't get any decent saces this weekend for the game...

I can imagine no more rewarding a career. And any man who may be asked in this century what he did to make his life worthwhile, I think can respond with a good deal of pride and satisfaction:
“I served in the United States Navy"

I'd use the fuck outta that

Pain is Temporary, Chicks Dig Scars
Glory is Forever, Let's Go Hokies!!

Would you put that on a Chaps Pit Beef sandwich? Maybe these two Maryland things wouldn't go together as well as chocolate and peanut butter.

Couldn't you just add old bay to any of your existing favorite hot sauces?

Vroom Vroom

Yeah I'd buy one of these at least just to try it.

I make my own old bay hot sauce with some garlic and habanero.

It is amazing, will post the exact recipe once I can find it buried in my recipe books

That sounds awesome, please do!

Actually, a seperate "recipes" thread isn't a bad idea at all, if it hasn't been done already...

I just add Old Bay to my Buffallo Wing hot sauce.

This is going to be great for the ACC.

JO #2 is the real crab spice.

Blasphemy!

I agree when steaming crabs, but it's too salty to use on top of things or dipping crab meat into.

Where's the flag?

"Best not get any in your eyes."

Motto checks out. Definitely Old Bay.

I'd be interested in this. Not sure why it took so long, plenty of wing places have Old Bay wings, so this seems like a natural step.

Now, wonder if I can find it somewhere around here.

Old Bay seasoning, crabs, and sailing are three things Maryland does pretty well.

Driving, on the other hand, is not.

Had a cat as a child that looked just like that. We named it Toonces.

Fun cat. Drives like a Marylander, though.

You guys continue to kill me with the irony of ragging on Maryland drivers. I've driven there, and it does suck in the congested areas, but the drivers are no worse than NOVA drivers in general and nowhere near the level of idiocy found in LA or Boston, just for a couple of examples.
Thing is, I'm convinced that I am the only good driver on the whole East Coast, and I was born on the Naval Academy, so technically, I'm a Marylander. Everybody else just needs to go back to driving school.

Those of us living in the third world get a huge chuckle when Americans complain about the drivers there in the States. For instance, in my current country's mega-city of 11 million, it is perfectly legal to turn left or right to a new road from any lane of traffic simply by waving your hand out the window. Left turn lanes are a non-existent luxury, so many intersections become gridlocked after about twenty vehicles enter them. Such fun.

We miss the orderly flow of traffic, the inspection compliant vehicles, and the magnificent infrastructure of North American highways. Maryland drivers would be a welcome addition down here.

My three favorite things about MD: Old Bay, Crabs, and the most beautiful flag in the union.

Gotta disagree with you on that last one.

I'm not a huge fan of the looks of that flag, but the idea of unity is interesting.

This is the best take. Meaning behind the flag = dope AF. The flag itself has been over used and is gaudy at best.

Its the Harlequin VW Golf of state flags

Yikes

Amazing. Hot sauce with even more salt. Ho hum.

I will 100% be buying this.
