Just wanted to create a thread to discuss tailgating plans/locations on Saturday. I expect Lane-North to be 70-30 ratio, Hokies to Hoos- I've heard there will be one or two clouds in the sky on Saturday, which will keep the Hoos at their cozy little homes. In which, it should sound very much like a Home Game. There will be nothing better than yelling "Let's Go" on Saturday.
I'll be in the Fontaine Research Lot all the way in the back.

Man, I would love to be able to hear "Lets Go" "Hokies" come across the TV down here in Alabama. We heard that at the Miami game and it was EPIC mostly because it was quickly followed by a shot of rain soaked cain fans leaving the stadium with close to 10 minutes left in the game.
In 2011, it was awesome. Looking to repeat the chant this year and hear the Hoos complain.
Hey hoos- it's not our fault that your so-called "fans" do not show up for the biggest game of the year and we do.
I was there 4 years ago and has the pleasure of participating in the "keep Al Groh" chant. Now that was a fun day.
LET'S GO...........HOKIES will be loud and clear come Saturday !!
I'm still figuring that out. I may end up housegating until 1'ish, and then go wander around.
I'll try to look for you there - what sections are everyone sitting in?
I think 127 or 128 - Dad has the tickets at home, and cant remember where he told me they were. It is definitely behind the UVA side and a few sections from the hill end.
I'm in 116 myself. Directly behind the endzone and low.
Is everyone tailgating around this location at LOLUVA?
Was wondering the same thing. I saw that they have a bunch of green lots for free but just wondering the distances/number of Hokies
Its usually a good number of Hokies in the Fontaine Lot - its the lot that I've always gone too, since it's easy access from Rt 250 and Rt 29. PLUS you still get to take Exit 118B!!!
It's a 20 minute walk to the stadium, so not too bad. Plus it's a good crowd - not very snobby like the ones closer to the stadium
Anyone else see this pic of Monticello this morning on Twitter?? I laughed my ass off.
That is so FREAKING AWESOME!
Link?!?!
That's awesome!
Sorry I have no idea how to copy a tweet on here. I just use Twitter on my phone and TKP on my work
computer. But I retweeted it on my acct.
I just found it on Twitter. Though, now that I look at it, looks very much like a photoshop.
Oh yeah...most likely. Still hilarious though. :)
That's fine by me. But if someone in Charlottesville wanted to make this happen...
Just got to Gordonsville, saw a guy with a UVA sweatshirt on and just smiled as I held up 10 fingers, wearing all O&M.
Bring it the fuck on, we're ready.

Hope you stopped by Barbeque Exchange!
Could be awkward next year...trying to hold up "11"
Looks close enough to an 11 to me...

touche.

Was it an Al Groh Approved sweatshirt?
I imagine it probably looked like the sweater and bow-tie combo from my pic above.
"Hokies Invade Hooville" reminded me of this TKP gem from a couple years ago. Go Hokies!
