Six Pick Week 14

The regular season ends this week, unless you're in some illegitimate 10 team conference like the Big 12. Savor this long day of football, while the bowl season is nice, nothing tops college footballs regular season.

What at a weird selection of games for the Six Pick this week. Games not on the list include VT vs uva, Florida State vs Florida, Georgia vs Georgia Tech, Oregon vs Oregon State and Ohio State vs Michigan. This week is special, even without those games listed above, its still a great week. Rivalry games just mean more, even if its lopsided or regional. The Hate is real.

Saturday, November 30th
(24) Duke at North Carolina -6.5 ~~ 12:00 pm ESPN2

• Consider this ... these two teams may be the face of the ACC Coastal going forward. Who's better than Cutcliffe right now? Outside of FSU and Duke, UNC is the hottest team in the ACC. They've turned a corner as a program?
• I said it on twitter and I'll say it here. If VT can't represent the Coastal in Charlotte, I hope it's the Blue Devils. Who can't respect one's climb from the bottom to the top through hard damn work?

Pick: Duke getting the points, winning and punching a ticket to get a non-consensual beat down in Charlotte next week.

The Iron Bowl

• Let me make it easy for you and dumb it down: Do you want Coach A: Done more with Less or Coach B: Done the Most with the Most? In this game?
• I personally am looking forward to see the creative additions to A.J. McCarron's chest when he adds a 3rd National Championship and the Heisman trophy to it, you guys

Pick: Alabama laying the points. So you're telling me, Auburn can't pass that well and they are going run the ball a whole lot to win ... on Alabama. Prove it.

(6) Clemson at (10) South Carolina -5.5 ~~ 7:00 pm ESPN2

• The Band, HC Dabo Swinney, OC Chad Morris and QB Tajh Boyd have one more shot to unseat Kking OBC, before 2 of the 3 go off to greener pastures
• Behind the aw shucks demeanor of the Ole Ball Coach is the gun slinging alpha male. He isn't ready to concede anything to that upstate school

Pick: Clemson getting the points, winning. Against better judgment and my blinding love of all things Spurrier, I'll take the ACC team over the SEC team. There is something off about this Sakerlina team that makes me not trust them and I feel Clemson is starting to round into form on offense.

(21) Texas A&M at (5) Missouri -4.5 ~~ 7:45 pm ESPN

• So, Les Miles can bottle up Johnny Football and Nick Saban can't. Football is weird. Anyway, Mizzou won't be able to either
• If Mizzou goes the season 11-1 with their only blemish a double OT loss to Sakerlina ... that's down right unbelievable. They'll give Bama a game too .... just kidding

Pick: Missouri covering the spread and going to the SECCG. aTm has more flaws and Mizzou is better balanced on O and a far superior D.

(22) UCLA at (23) USC -3.5 ~~ 8:00 pm ABC

• You know Coach O wished he had saved his Wild Boyz act for this game instead of the first day as an Asst for Lane Kiffin. Still it's 50/50 that he rips his shirt off pregame and gets in someone's face
• Undermanned. That's how I would describe this game. Injuries and scholarship limitations will have a lot of young and/or not ready for prime time players on the field

Pick: USC laying the points, winning comfortably. The UCLA OL is really bad and I expect Bruins QB Hundley to be running for his life a lot.

Arizona at (12) Arizona State -12.5 ~~ 9:30 pm PAC-12 Network

• For the 3 viewers that get the PAC 12 network, they get a great game that won't end til 1am and 80+ points scored.
• Dickrod vs Todd Graham. Uggh, there is no chance for a loveable loser here, I can only hope one or both acts like an ahole and makes SportsCenter because of it

Pick: Arizona getting the points. I think ASU wins, but Im not convinced they can do it going away.

This unique collaboration beer pours a very deep, hazy, burgundy brown color and is topped by a massive, intensely sticky, tan colored head that laces nicely and remains indefinitely. Smells of spicy Belgian yeast greet the nose. But then it takes on a unique twist, with prominent notes of chocolate and some coffee, fudge, and a stemmy woodiness. When swirled, look for faint impressions of cherry juice to arise. Expect notes of dark bread, bubblegum and spicy, herbal notes as it warms, reminiscent of beers brewed in the Belgian Dubbel style.
