Dang, wish Exum could go. Well, I guess that means Kendall and Brandon have to step up!
Matt Roth "Head". That's kind of vague. "What's wrong son?" "Head's broken, Coach!"
I always think the same sort of comical thought when someone says "head injury." It does sound weird. Usually that means concussion.
Or like when they say "he's got a knee". For Roth are they saying "he's got a head"?
In last nights steelers-ravens game, a steelers player was reported out with what was called a "right" injury. Presumably his left was okay, though.
Thankfully, he wasn't out with a "wrong" injury. Those are just horrendous.
Maybe it's just a sprain
So we got 1 game from Exum and 6 games from Kyle this year....good thing the freshmen were able to step up so early or it could have been a disaster. It seems like we're not hearing the truth on Exum....an ankle is keeping him out for 3-4 weeks?....and Shane said on Tuesday that he was "limited" in practice but would be ready to go by Sat, but come game day he is not even questionable???
I would be careful with an ankle injury to a player recovering from ACL.
Favoring a leg could toss in some extra side force putting stress on the knee.
I don't suspect we'll need him as much against YooVeeAye as in a bowl game and his NFL chances.
Damn, this has been a rough year for injuries..hopefully next year there will be less injuries to key players.
Every year is a rough year of injuries for us.
With all the injuries this year, who would have predicted a 7/8/9/10 win season!? (Realistically we win 8 or 9 games.)
Looking back its been a really successful season, with some missed opportunities to win 10 or 11 games. I look forward to seeing how good this team can be with RVD, Ryan Malleck, and a few others back next year.
The way I look at it, the blame for all these injuries falls squarely on UVA. They need to be taught a lesson.
