VT undergrad = UVa in the Axis of Evil
Yale grad* = Harvard in the Axis of Evil
Many reasons = Penn State in the Axis of Evil

In chronological order:
(1) Ugly uniforms.
(2) First time as a kid I can remember just blatant referee bias was in favor of Penn State.
(3) VT professor in the late 1980s who was just this nut job Penn State/JoeP fan.
(4) The stupid ABC station in Connecticut showing every single Penn State game for 6 years. As a poor graduate student, you did not have cable and all these other services did not exist so you got 1 or 2 channels showing games. Always remember "Watch as THE #2 NITTANY LIONS take on Temple!" Who the _____ do they really think wants to watch the number 2 Nittany Lions play 1-5 (or whatever they were) Temple? And in Connecticut no less?
(5) Really annoying fellow grad student, who was almost as bad as the VT professor in point #3 sucking up to Penn State. She is 1 of 4 people that I have given derogatory nicknames to in my adult life.
(6) Did I mention ugly uniforms?

They were at or near my bottom long before Sandusky, recruiting losses, or moving to the Philadelphia area. Actually, my PSU grad co-workers have been very good and nice. But I would root for UVa and Harvard over PSU.

* Granted, he turned down a Yale offer too, but that is okay.

Is that good or bad?
