Here are the rules-
1) you had to at least see them play on TV, in your lifetime. No 42-year olds picking Alex Karras because you saw him on Webster.
2) one at each position, with winning one game with each player at his peak in mind
3) It can't be a current or recently retired and not eligible player

Hard to do a full team from my phone, but give me Daunte Culpeper with Jimmy Smith and Tory Holt pls
Wow...gonna have to put some thought into this one...
I'll cheat and do the "pretty" position. I'll leave the trenches to you French.
QB: Jim Plunkett
RB: Roger Craig
back up RB: Edgerrin James
WR's: Mark Clayton and Mark Duper
DB's: Jack Tatum and Everson Walls
LB's: Wilbur Marshall and Carl Banks
Marshall and Banks was a difficult choice. So was Charles Mann versus Leonard Marshall.
Also, I went huge on the DL, which left out elite edge speed (Dwight Freeney, Kevin Greene, Jared Allen.)
If the Bills had either Pat Williams or Tes Washington on their Super Bowl teams, they at least beat the Giants. Jeff Wright and Fred Smerlas were undersized. Otis Anderson had a legendary game that day.
Mann was a beast. And sharp as a tack.
Kevin Greene's motor never stopped. Jared Allen was an alien. He'd play with a dislocated arm.

Mike Johnson, Ben Taylor, James Anderson. LB
Tom Beasley. John Engleberger DT.
Pierson Prioleau, Kevin McAdam. S
Tyronne Drakeford, Jayron Hosley, DB
This was more of a struggle to put together than I expected it to be. And, I don't really view engleberger as A DT. We do have a few more people becoming eligible in the next few years.
First thing that jumped in my mind.
I'm a product of the 90s so here goes, some may not be worthy
QB: Dante Culpepper (just to be different from McNair)
RB: Warrick Dunn
FB: Mike Alstott
WR: Tory Holt
WR: Steve Smith Sr.
TE: Ben Coates
OT: Tony Boselli
OT: Lomas Brown
C: Jeff Saturday
OG: Alan Faneca
OG: Logan Mankins
DE Simeon Rice
DE: John Abraham
DT: La'Roi Glover
DT: Dana Stubblefield
LB: London Fletcher
LB: Zach Thomas
LB: Joey Porter
CB: Carnell Lake
CB: Ronde Barber
SS: Leroy Butler
FS: John Lynch
That is a good lineup. Lots of cover 2. If I made one change looking at that era, perhaps Trevor Pryce for Stubblefield? But that may be a wash.
Took some research. Ironically I had to dig for Stubblefield since most great 90s and 2000s DTs are already in Hall (waiting on you Vince Wilfork) and a rejogging of memory of childhood me playing Madden.
I almost picked McNabb, Hines Ward, Charles Woodson, and Tom Nalen. Those are my next four.
QB: Ken Anderson
RB: Shaun Alexander
RB: Jamal Anderson
FB: Roger Craig
WR: Chad Johnson/Ocho Cinco
TE: Anthony Becht
OL: Tony Boselli
OL: Steve Hutchinson
OL: Jeff Saturday
OL: Alan Fanaca
OL: Eugene Chung
DL: Simeon Rice
DL: Richard Seymour
DL: Justin Tuck
LB: Peter Boulware
LB: Willie McGinest
LB: Zach Thomas
LB: Joey Porter
DB: Got to get back to work
DB: Leroy Butler
DB: John Lynch
DB: Chris McAlister
Coach: Don Coryell
I thought Hutchinson just got in. He was on my list and that is why I left him off. I may be wrong. He is deserving.
Looked it up and it's a technicality. He has been voted in but not inducted. So his name was not on the list at the HoF website as in the HoF. I overlooked who just got voted in.
So we're both right?
Ima throw my weight behind the submission of the starting lineup of the '87 'Skins team. If I'm disqualified, so be it. I'll take Art Monk, Gary Clark, Darrell Green, Charles Mann, Dexter Manley, and the OLine and figure out the rest.
But Grimm, Monk, and Green are in the Hall (and Gary Clark and Charles Mann warrant consideration, as does Dave Butz and Joe Jacoby.) Do you plug in that lineup minus those three?
Yes I do. The 87 team couldn't be stopped. I'll take Lester "Stickum" Hayes for Green. Hayes didn't have elite corner speed like Green, but he punished you off the line of scrimmage so he didn't need it. I'd try Erik Williams (pre-car wreck) out at guard for Grimm, and for Monk... I don't know... I bring in Mark Clayton and Cliff Branch and let them fight it out.
As a long suffering Atlanta Falcons fan, put Warrick Dunn and Jessie Tuggle on the squad and I'm happy
