By my math we have 15 scholarship OL

I hope it means Nester can redshirt. A lot of potential there, just as long as it can be realized. I think a redshirt year will help that.

It gives the Hokies a versatile veteran who can play every spot on the line of scrimmage, which opens up travel spots for other positions with less depth. I envision the depth chart looking like this, although I could be way off.

Darrisaw- L. Smith- Hudson-Hoffman (Hudson and Hoffman could change places)-Tenuta
T. Smith- Cannon- Hoyt-Nester- Dzansi

People may wonder why Nester gets demoted. I thought, looking at the threesome of Nester, Hudson, and Lecitus, Nester (who may have the most upside of the group) was the most inconsistent. He also struggled with pass pro. We know Hoffman will get one of those spots.
