I had the pleasure (and the utter agony) of watching the Hokie Ladies football it out with the Nole chicks on Friday. The pleasure was watching the Ladies twice come back from down a goal to tie the game. The agony was watching senior Jazmine Reeves' shot to tie it in the last minute smash the crossbar.
Anyway...shout out to the Lady footballers. Great season after being picked to finish at the bottom of the conference. This team is TOUGH. Looking forward to next year with most of team coming back. To the outgoing seniors - we will miss you guys.

Think about the positives, UVA didn't win.
Dayle and Jazzy are the two that are going to be missed the most, but from what I've heard from the assistant/goalie coach, they have some young talent that should ease the transition next year. Chugger has this program headed in the right direction.
Sad that the ACC couldn't get it done with six out of the final eight teams being from the conference.
