Speaking of ND....

I have to say, it was weird watching their game last week and seeing the ACC football patch on their jerseys, the ACC logo on their helmet bumpers, and the ACC logo on the field in South Bend. At the same time, it looked like something that should have been there from the beginning.

Both teams have a bye scheduled the following week (Oct 3).

So, either they just push the game a week, or ND leans into the bye week to get an extra week to recover and it only looks like they missed one week.

Looks like they have rescheduled for 12/12:

I'm guessing that weekend will be jammed packed with games by the time we get there.

EDIT:
Given that Wake Forest-Notre Dame and Virginia-Virginia Tech -- rescheduled from Sept. 19 -- have been moved to Dec. 12, it would appear likely that the league's title game will be played Dec. 19.

And Wake moved their Oct 9 game to Oct 2 (both Fridays), which indicates that ND isn't trying to play in their original bye week.

USF has paused football activities. If they end up having confirmed infections from playing against Notre Dame last weekend, that is going to put a serious chill on the season.
