The *rumors* I've seen, strictly from other TKP posts are that Hooker is out and Waller is out as far as starters go. Haven't seen any other specific names named though it seems likely more will be out.
On the other hand, based on social media posts by themselves or by other official VT accounts, Tre Turner, Raheem Blackshear, Brock Hoffman, Armani Chatman, JR Walker all seem to be in.
Per Biter, Hooker is on the field warming up with the other QBs. Means nothing other than he'll at least be on the sideline.
Braxton is the starter at QB, right? They hinted it on College Gameday and I've seen bits and pieces of info on twitter throughout the last couple of days. Nothing concrete though.

We had open try-outs this week. Ran out of snappers do to C19

I've largely not commented on the coaching angst we've gone through, but I think it's time to speak up. Down 23 guys....2 coaches, including the DC, playing the opener 2 weeks late, and getting the remnant of a football team not only ready to play in a pandemic hotspot, but dominate a decent ball team speaks for itself. I really don't want to hear anything else about Fuente's coaching ability.

I had no earthly idea what to expect tonight. That was pretty good.
The craziest thing about tonight's win was that I don't think we played very aggressive offensively. Which to me speaks to the potential of this offense. Blackshear and Herbert looked the real deal with that O line tonight.
This is what has me the most excited for the rest of the season. We had obviously schemed a run-first offense that could just rely on our giant o-line to get points where we could and then burn the clock. Like, from the start it was clearly what we were doing - basically a repeat of our bowl game against O(K)SU 2 years ago. Control the clock, control the game.
But we were too good at opening up holes, so we started running up the score because everyone who ran ended up breaking free at least once (and in some cases, multiple times, like Herbert going over 100 yds on SIX CARRIES). Slowed it down in the second quarter when the defense came down off of the adrenaline and realized they were all just completely gassed.
I'm SO excited to see how our offense runs with the monsters we apparently have at running back IN ADDITION TO Hooker's passing game. We saw so few passes tonight outside of QP's safety fades, and now I just want to see the playbook opened up when Hooker gets back in control of the offense. Like, I'm already impressed at how we played while down 2 dozen players (including 6-8 players that were supposed to have quality minutes), and the entire game seemed like it was run with a VERY limited playbook.
Was I the only one wondering what would happen if QP got hurt with BB hurt too?
