Mullets get paid, science fact

I can imagine no more rewarding a career. And any man who may be asked in this century what he did to make his life worthwhile, I think can respond with a good deal of pride and satisfaction:

I don't want to take anything away from Wyatt, but "Browns offensive MVP" isn't a flattering term. Its like being the sharpest tool in the shed that only contains rubber mallets.

Even though that's the case, have a Hokie get that kind of attention/press has to be good for recruiting.

Oh yeah he is ballin'

If you have to clarify that you weren't trying to be offensive, just that you're quoting someone else who was offensive, chances are it doesn't matter and it's still just offensive.

I went though a lot of sayings in my head they're all bad.

Apparently Pro Football Focus has him as the highest rated guard in the NFL.

Reality has a mighty pimp hand.

Well maybe they should talk to Aikmen. He seems to think otherwise.

I mean nick chubb is a top 5 runningback in the league, Kareem hunt is really good too, and obj ain't bad either. Just because the team is bad doesn't mean there isn't talent there

Taylor, looking desperately throws it deep..HAS A MAN OPEN DANNY COALE WITH A CATCH ALL THE WAY DOWN TO THE FIVE!!!!....hes still open

When it comes from an Oline stand point I disagree. You can be on a shit team and still dominate on the line. I know a certain Browns lineman who played on many a terrible team.

The Browns are actually, dare I say it, mediocre this year.

How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Jet Sweep

During the Bengals Browns game he had a false start penalty and Troy effing Aikman said something like "Wyatt Teller is fighting for that spot, he can't make mistakes like that."

Two plays later he blocks a massive hole for a TD.

Mashed chicken liver contains more brain material than Troy Aikman has at this point.

You will see this game, this upset and this sign next on ESPN Sportscenter. Virginia Tech 31 Miami 7

His decision was made after a phone call with longtime Virginia Tech assistant coach Bud Foster. All Foster told him was, "We win. They don't."

Troy had a lot of concussions

"That kid you're talking to right there, I think he played his nuts off! And you can quote me on that shit!" -Bud Foster

Now finish up them taters; I'm gonna go fondle my sweaters.

I think he still does.

I've heard rumors that it's possible he still has them. Totally unconfirmed.

This is good stuff that I like to read on The Key Play.

More like this!

Gonna be fun watching Wyatt and Timmy battle on Sunday..... Kendall is supposed to be back on Sunday also....

Someone post a GIF; I forget which game it was, but when he was at Tech, he was called for a penalty, and his reaction when the camera was on him was something like "Well either it's this thing, or it's not...". I hadn't laughed in a while and when I saw 55 do that I laughed my ass off. It might have been against FSU.

Wyatt just pancaked Kendall on that Chubb TD. Gotta love the Tech on Tech action.

Here lies It's a Stroman Jersey I Swear, surpassed in life by no one because he intercepted it.

Wyatt looked like he was going to lift him and throw him out of the way. There was nothing Kendall was going to do and he knew it.

He steamrolled Kendall at least twice on a couple versions of that playcall. All I thought was poor Kendall, Wyatt coming at him with a 10 yard running start. Wyatt also suplexed Tim Settle and picked up a holding call for it. Someone remind him of his roots! Take it a little easy on your fellow Hokies!

I'm still pissed off the Redskins took Gerald Christianson in the 3rd round and Teller ended up going to Browns in 4th round. I know one plays OT and the other is OG... but Redskins need anything and everything on the O-line.

Teller was drafted by the Bills and traded to the Browns last year.

Life is good.

You're correct, just mad that they passed up on him for a guy that was seen as a project

Yeah but you know he would not be playing this well for the skins because skins. That have the uncanny ability to turn gold into shit...

Ha maybe... but I also have a personal connection with him and his family, so it would have been nice to see him play at shitty FedEx field

As a life long and long suffering Brown's fan dating back to Jim Brown, Leroy Kelly and Dr. Frank Ryan, I am just glad to have a Hokie to root for on the team.

Life is good.

Wish y'all didn't do Tyrod dirty. :(

As a Browns fan who came of rooting interest age just in time to see the team moved, I wish I got to see the Jim Brown days. It's been a rough 20 years.

Didn't you have Lee Suggs and Ben Taylor at one point?

I think so.

Life is good.

"The biggest thing of pancaking is forcefully putting someone against their will on the ground," Teller said. "You kind of feel it. "

Seems like our O-Line is channeling some of that mojo too.

I told him I’d crawl on my hands and knees to be the DL coach at Virginia Tech. Now, all of a sudden, I’m sitting in this chair and I told him I’d still crawl on my hands and knees to work here. I just want to be here.

Still got it going, 94.1 grade of PFF, #1 G in the league this morning.

Can't be better than Numero Uno!!!!

Life is good.

Browns need to get to work on an extension for that young man ASAP

This quote pretty much sums up Wyatt

"Jack and Joel are the smart ones and I am the mauler," Teller said, "so they tell me what to do and I go maul them."

I told him I’d crawl on my hands and knees to be the DL coach at Virginia Tech. Now, all of a sudden, I’m sitting in this chair and I told him I’d still crawl on my hands and knees to work here. I just want to be here.

Looks like Wyatt was mic'd up last game

Teller laid some nasty blocks in that montage.

Several pancakes

Life is good.

He is crazy athletic for being so big.

I laughed my ass off that after he viscously plants a dude into the turf, he catches another player so that he doesn't fall tripping over him.

Need to show this to O line recruits.

Life is good.

I was thinking this morning about OL from VT. Who are your starting 5 NFL OL from VT?

Caveats:
I am not talking about how good they were at VT or how well we coached them. cough Duane Brown cough
I am not talking about if they were drafted high
I AM talking about what they did in the NFL and how they succeeded because of (or in spite of) what they had/did at VT.

I'm starting with Teller, Duane Brown, and Will Montgomery. Who else is on the starting NFL VT OL?

Jake Grove of course. Off the top of my head Matt Lehr started for about 3 years with Dallas/Atlanta. Anthony Davis started a couple of years with Tampa and was in the league for another 4 years or so. Jim Pyne started for a couple of years.

Buzz Nutter and George Preas way back in the day. (Had to look up their names)

All name team Buzz Nutter! Started 11 years in the NFL. Won 3 titles, went to one pro bowl.

EDIT: that's what I get for not reading all comments

Honorable mention perhaps? Todd Washington (2x super bowl champ)
