Apparently through twitter, Melvin Keihn had his home visit last night with Bud Foster and Aaron Moorehead. Also Shai Mckenzie had his home visit with Coach Beamer. Looks like the coaches out putting in some work. Hope we can get both of these guys.

I know he does, first time I ever met him was at a chili cook off in Floyd county. I have been star struck twice in my life and one time it was meeting Tyrod Taylor, the other was talking chili and football with Bud Foster.

Shai announces in 8 days. At this point I would be shocked if he weren't a Hokie. Keihn is considered to be a strong Tech lean as well.

Yeah he's announced he'll decide on December 20. And just so everyone's aware, Paul Chryst had an in-home visit with him earlier this week too. Not trying to be a downer but Pitt seems to be just as in this as we are, I'd honestly put our odds at 50/50.
Weren't we the first to call him up after his injury to guarantee him that his scholarship offer was still good? Maybe I'm totally making that up, but I swore I read it somewhere (#sources). If it is true and I'm not going crazy, that's got to count for something. Beamer's word is good and he stands by his offer, in spite of injury. He'll take care of his guys.
He listed VT as his clear favorite in August and said they still were after his visit here. I believe that a player on the womens lacrosse team is best friends with him and urging him to come here as well.
