Does it help the local economy if I click local? I always go with the Roanoke link...

"Yeah, it do." - Mike Vick

I put both of them so A) I don't have to hear my bosses complain that I favor one site too much, and B) I don't have to hear people complain about the paywall popping up for Norfolk.

Thanks. Which site do you favor more and why is it the Roanoke one?

"Yeah, it do." - Mike Vick

The Roanoke one has a better design, easier reader comment function. But that means I also have to deal with all those commenters, 95% of which I loathe.

The site's all changing in a couple weeks anyway, though.

Oh jeez I have to join that group

Couple of obs:
VT and FSU are getting a bargain.
Who the heck negotiated the contracts for uva and why are they not being fired?
ACC is way behind (except for Clempsun) in salaries to assistants.
'If you want better birds, put out better bird seed.'

Yeah, I got a good laugh at LOLUVA having the 3rd highest assistant coach salary in the ACC. All that money for ZERO conference wins. Really makes you appreciate the good leadership we've had in the athletic department under Weaver.

Sure, good bird seed is great, but what constitutes bird seed? I've paid good money for a very average meal. Quality of work environment, being put in a position to succeed, etc. all matter. To see where our assistant pay ranking is and that none of our assistants seem to be chomping at the bit for a dollar proves a lot in showing what Beamer has developed here. Its hard to leave family and it looks like that's what our coaching staff is.

Upvote, and all good points.
But, when Beamer leaves.....

Hahaha Beamer leaves hahaha. Wait... is that possible? I feel naked and abandoned right now!

(At work, couldn't do the 'naked' part.)

A good Chardonnay is WAY more expensive than Fosters Lager and Wild Turkey.

Torrian Gray needs to get a pay increase. He's proving very valuable to the program and I think that whenever Foster isn't DC anymore (promotion or move elsewhere) that Torrian would be a logical successor.

Several others on there could probably use a raise. Can we crowd source some pay raises?

#Let's Go - Hokies

Well we already have a way to do that indirectly. The Hokie Club can always use more members and/or donations!
