Herbert
For Heisman!
So hes going to score atleast 25 points this weekend then LETS GO!
wait, if that's how it works, can we give him #99 or something?
I think #69 would be nicer given how much he's scoring YOUKNOWWHATIMSAYIN
I'm not conviced 69 points would be enough to win this game
via GIPHY
except in Chapel Hill this weekend, it will be more like this...

This guy gets it
Per accuweather
62% chance of showers on Saturday
0.12" accumulation
all you need is a fine mist and that ball is slippery enough to affect your passing
I'm just saying, I keep seeing people thinking this is gonna be like the Hurricane Matthew game, it's not
In a perfect world... but I think we're all just rooting for wetness and a Hokie beat down so we can poke more fun at UNC's inability to play with a wet football at home.
not me, I like jeeps (especially mine) and mud...greater chance of rain than snow! just keeping it real. lol
Me too!
My dad and I rebuilt this from the ground up in high school. I find myself in the odd position of being snobbish both to jeep people and to modern day LR people (anything not named "defender" doesn't count as a Land Rover in my book)
Picture is not mine, but the same model (Series II long bed pickup, diesel). Significantly nicer than mine looked when I saved it from the creek behind my uncles place after my cousin swamped it and left it for a year.
My dad and brother are really big into old Land Rovers. My dad had a 1961 or 62 Series 2 110. My brother bought a completely totaled 1973 Series 3 something-or-other and rebuilt it from the ground up. They loved those things. Old school Land Rovers are pretty tough to beat. I'll be honest, if I had the money, I'd own one of the new Range Rovers though. I think they look really nice. I probably wouldn't go mudding in it, however.
But if I wanted a great off-roader with some pedigree I'd get an older Defender 90. That would be my jam
nice lineup. My truck was a 1958 107" wheel base Series II. My dad still drives his 1967 Series IIa "station wagon" (109") when it snows because it doesn't sink in the snow like his trucks (aluminum body ftw) and it has a PTO winch so he can get out of trouble. One of his current projects is a 1970 something Series 3 88" rebuild. We live on the wrong side of the ocean to get parts cheap, but he can't shake the addiction, apparently.
This was the first comment on this thread that I could leg because everyone else already has 25!
I got it.
Man, that is killer

Just got my baby back. Not a Jeep, but thought you may like.
User name checks out.
There were going to be some orange accents, such as the bumpers and sliders. But that was vetoed.
We are going to be adding some orange decals. Looks more red in this picture, but it's close to maroon.
Is it manual? That model is right around the time Toyota stopped offering the M/T in 4Runners. I have a Tacoma (love Toyota trucks!) and they're still offering M/T for those. If I could get a 4Runner with a manual I would
Yeah still a manual.
I love this generation, as I have the manual and it is old enough to have some creature comforts and features, but not have a ton of crazy electronics and other things added. You actually have to know how to offroad in this thing, haha. Though hitting the trails with guys in automatics kind of stinks.
Tacos are great. A lot of friends have them. I actually know a guy considering getting rid of his pristine 1st gen.
My first one was a 1996 single cab 4wd Tacoma. My brother bought it originally, then pawned it off on my dad and when I was about 13 I started learning how to drive stick-shift on it. My dad eventually got a new vehicle for work when I was heading into my Junior year at VT and bequeathed the truck to me. I kept it until I was able to buy myself a new one at the end of August in 2010. I still own that one to this day and I have been extremely happy with it. It has served me very very well and I plan to continue driving it for many years to come.
Cool story about the your Taco.
I originally had a little Nissan pickup, then inherited a 92 Jeep Wrangler. Sadly, I had to get rid of that as it was having a ton of issues (what I consider normal Jeep reliability, may be better today). I didn't have a 4WD for a while, and when I was starting a brewery, I bought the 99 4runner from my parents to use as a work vehicle. Brewery fell to the side, and I kept the 4Runner. Ended up started modifying it and realizing that it would be a great family adventure vehicle, so here is is today. The amount of work that just went into it, essentially makes it a new vehicle and it only has just over 200k miles on it.
I don't plan on getting rid of it for sure, and though I wanted to get another Jeep, I think this is where I'll stay. For daily driving and non-offroad adventures, we use our Subaru Ascent. So can keep this one as specialty vehicle.
that's great! My 2011 Tacoma (yes, it's a model year 2011 even thought I got it in 2010) already has over 200k miles...I used to drive A LOT...not so much anymore
that is awesome. So much nostalgia as this was THE 4x4 to have in high school
I had a FaceBook memory pop up yesterday about being at that game. Oh it was so awesome there were far many more Hokie fans than Heels it sounded like Lane Stadium South and by the 3rd quarter all the UNC fans that showed up were gone.
Pretty sure he should have it the rest of the year barring injury, dude is a beast
well deserved.
4 touchdowns = 24 Points so just let him get in the end zone for a 2-pt conversion
That'd be 26 right? Think we just gotta let him kick a PAT.
Yeah, gotta have him kick a PAT to boost his Heisman chances
Looks like you went to the same school as the ACCN down and distance producers.
downvoted because of the bylaws of this thread
Edit: ^^GUYS!! PLEASE! Get thing thing to 25
LOL NOT TO 27!
BIG PLAY BERT with the 25.
Nice! Go Hokies!
WOO!! It would be sweet if he had 25 touches and got a 25 yard run (or more)...
Or maybe he'll average 25 yards per carry...
Most likely scenario here^
At 12 yards per carry... 300 yards. Sign me up!
HIS BERT?!!!!?!
HELL NO--
HERBERT!!!!!
If he averaged 25 yards per kick return, that would be a good day for most people, but I'm pretty sure he's gonna blow that out of the water when he receives their one kickoff and runs it back for a TD.
Mark from Winchester
Jake from State Farm?
It's pronounced Kevin
25 carries for 625 yards and 25 TDs please and thank you
So Herbert will have to return all punts and kicks to UNC's 25 yard line and then kneel? This checks out, good math!
Hell, he could also have 25 receptions for 25 yards a piece and another 25 touchdowns.
But then he would have 50 touchdowns... that's unacceptable.
If it means we beat UNC

Mack Brown will say anything to get his 25 legs in this thread.
Oops, sorry. Wrong thread.
I want Herbert to run for 25% of last year's season rushing total this game (it's just 587 yards, seems legit)
Y'all must be legging at the same time I am. I had to reset like 7 of my legs that went from +24 to +26
Get in shape, you need faster legs...
Here's hoping Herbert's leg's stay fast throughout the game

There's something wrong with that horse.
Namely that it's not on a treadmill.
Dammit people! Let's get it together. I went to downvote my own comment to get it to 25 and discovered I'm not allowed to vote on my own stuff. Someone reset or downvote me ffs.
Also - has anybody with connections to the program discussed the dilemma of KH getting 25 points, the need for 4 riushing touchdowns, and as many touchdowns as we can score until KH can get a PAT through the uprights?
I had to reset TWO of my legs!! C'mon people get it together!!!!!
EDIT: FOUR!!! And my comment is at 26!!! Who's the hoo trying to jinx our juju??!?!?
EDIT EDIT: Oh my God I just had to go through and reset EVERY leg I gave in this thread and down vote some people to get them to 25!!!!!
Conflicted. It's at 26. But there IS something wrong with that horse...Maybe he does need 26?! A little help? I don't know........gonna leave it and let the rest of TKP community figure it out...
With UNCheat only kicking off once, he will have to return punts to get his 250 yards on special teams.

Feeling good I've been personally responsible for the 25th leg twice in this thread...but also sad about all the posts I won't get to vote for.
Herbert is a Horse who's broken free of his treadmill!
So hear me out.
It took Khalil Herbert 17 seconds to rush for a 60 yard TD against Duke. We can then assume that it will take him ~7 seconds to go 25 yards. Now we all expect UNC to be stopped 3 and out on every drive and based on their last game that will take about a minute. I'd like to think they are going to have an amazing day punting pinning us at the 1 every time they punt. So we hand the ball to Herbert every play he scores 4 plays later then we force UNC 3 and out...
X=number of drives
28x+60x=3600
88x=3600
X=40.9 but we will round down as Herbert will return one to the house on their only kickoff. X=40
Final VT 287 - UNC 0
Herbert with 4000 yards rushing, 100 returning, and 40 TDs rushing, 1 TD returning
This game plan seems reasonable and logical. And the math checks out. Let's do this.
Now we can crunch the numbers to balance a passing attack to Herbert out of the backfield but I don't know if that is needed given his running ability.
Umm, I think 40x7 is 280. Should be 41 total touchdowns unless we're letting someone else score one.
Matheny pick-6
Herbert will get a kick return touchdown as UNC has to kick off once.
Maybe we should have waited until he actually earned it \S
Herbert gets #25 and TKPC Gets new members (including me) on the same day!
Looks like where wearing white helmets and jerseys with orange pants. Pretty sweet look!
This was painful to upvote.
Break 25 tackles!!!!!
It's a sign... 25 TD's this year for Herbert
FTFY
LOLKansas?
So hard not to upvote some of these past 25, well done all and much deserved for Herbert. Hope to find out he's a mudder as well as a badass.
Guys, some of you need to be realistic. 200 rushing yards, 5 total touchdowns.
Can we downvote to -25?
I think he's saying let Blackshear, Robinson, Tre, Mitchell and a few on defense also have a couple TDs each. Why play Herbert after he gets his 5 in the first quarter?
Sir, this is a Heisman campaign.
Gotta let Blackshear get his too.
In the first quarter
200 yards!
I'm gonna beat this wet/rain game superstition into the ground...
Weather.com is calling for a . 25" of rain tomorrow in Chapel Hill
The 25 is alive.

The man! Well deserved.
Hell yeah.
Man, I'm so anxious I can't sleep.
Go Hokies!
Found the problem. There are a whole lot of comments on here legged beyond 25 and a few not up to 25. We can't let this happen this week.
