I just moved, so I had assumed it was my new internet server not liking you (probably personally) for whatever reason. Loaded fine this morning, though.
Well, Butch Jones didn't exactly run a clean program at UNC, so it wouldn't be shocking to me if there were some form of UT bagmen playing a role here too.
EDIT - My bad! Wrong Butch... How are there that many Butchs in college football?
SO who's next? Worilds? Deangelo is out for the year...
As team deemed "most desireable" for SEC expansion, I feel like we defniitely have some weight that we have not been throwing around enough. Agreed 100%
I felt like it was pretty consistently loud, though. And the stadium felt full and energized. I haven't felt Lane like that in a while. I don't know if it's just the OSU win, or if it's changes Whit has made to engage students more, or maybe this crop of students isn't quite as spoiled as the last ones... no clue. Just feel like it's better than I've seen it in a while.
I felt like Lane Stadium was really loud last weekend. I've been going to games since 2005 (my freshman year), and last weekend was the loudest I've heard it in years. Definitely louder than the Horseshoe. And it was a nooner game that was agonizing to watch in the hot sun. Seriously, way to go fans.
Agreed, but just pointing out that maybe Winston is not so much a hyper-talented amazing qb as he is another Jimbo Fisher project.
I think Jimbo Fisher's system is very good at making "eh" qbs into superstars. I mean, look at Jamarcus Russel, EJ Manuel and Christian Ponder. All Fisher 1st rounders that flamed out (or are in the process of flaming out) quickly.
Plus any assault would likely be brushed under rug by the TPD...
so... exactly what's happening in the NFL?
hahahahaha. Vinny's still got it.
I think he has used up any benefit of the doubt and was on a short leash. They're sending him a message - "grow up and stop being a dumbass"
We have AP admitting to doing something that the overwhleming majority of people agree is child abuse. While he may not have specifically said "I abused this kid," he did say "I hit him repeatedly and injured him," which is basically the same thing.
I'd say if the vast majority of Americans feel that he crossed the line (which is clearly the consensus), then he did. We are his peers in society - if we aren't the ones to judge and decide what we should and should not tolerate, then who is?
We're not subverting anything. People aren't throwing them in jail or removing their voting privledges - we are just pressuring their employers (who produce entertainment) to remove them from the product, because otherwise their sales will suffer. OJ Simpson was found innocent in the court of law, but everyone knows he's guilty. We don't have to pretend he's innocent. That is not subverting the justice system, and neither is this.
A poisonous one, at that. It's not even a delicious nut.
something something joke about nonconsenting women
I can't fathom why a person who has gotten into trouble over alleged sexual assault thought this would be a fun thing to yell in public. He needs to get a clue.
Paul Johnson will open a box of assorted chocolates, nibble each one to find the flavors he likes, and leave the crappy ones behind.
Paul Johnson steals coins from fountains.
Paul Johnson will sit in his car for ten minutes waiting for the quarter he put in the meter to run out.

Paul Johnson picks all of the chex and bagel bits out of bags of chex mix.
haha doubt it. Watched the game alone. Great minds must just think alike.
Holy shit, youre right! Damn, i was on a roll too. Ah well, fixed
I didn't think it was that bad. A few calls could've gone either way, but it didn't feel one-sided to me. Certainly there were some PI calls against us that I thought were ticky-tacky
Sarcastica?? Judging by the profile pick, I'm thinking yes.

He is the alpha and the omega.
