This is true, but I would say having such a dynamic game changer player at the QB position is more likely to define a season than a WR.
Not trying to bash on Farley here. No doubt the kid has a ton of talent, and I hope we get to see it on full display next year (if the injury is as bad as is being rumored). I was really looking forward to seeing what he could do, but has there been anything indicated that his impact to the team would be anything close to the type of impact that Vick had? Is there any team in recent years that you can think of that all other players being the same you can pick out a WR and say "man, that team would have had a completely different season without him"?
Point being, yes the loss of Farley for the year, if that's what it ends up being, will sting. But I am confident that we have the talent levels that someone will step up, fill the void, and the loss won't alter the outcome of our season.
Sucks. I feel for Farley, but on the whole for VT football, I do not think one freshman WR is going to make or break our season.

I do think its a bit funny that people are pissed at Theon for abandoning his sister when the odds looked bleak...but remember how Theon came to be Reek...his sister left him for Ramsey when the odds looked bleak.
