I didn't think it was clickbait, personally. I clicked cause I saw the news already and wanted to see what my trusted TKP counterparts thought about it.

I was just surprised to see such a "nothing-burger" post get the mod-nuke that it distracted me from the actual commentary about the hire...maybe the nuke was "the noise" that started it all.

Anyways, excited to see what the future holds for VT athletics 🫡

No offense to the powers that be, but this post getting nuked tells me someone had a bad day. Aren't we not supposed to downvote (let alone mod nuke) opinions?

I appreciate the info!

I had no idea there were different pegs for different applications. I'll look into that Haro

Thanks!

Cattoor's hire brings Young's staff to four assistant coaches: Cattoor, Associate Head Coach Chester Frazier, J.D. Byers, and Jamie Moats. There remains one spot left on staff after Kevin Giltner accepted an offer to become Wofford's next head coach last September.

That the spot you're thinking of?

Interestingly, it looks like both VT and Susquehanna started using O&M in 1896

First team in league history to make the Stanley Cup finals with only 1 loss through the first 3 rounds

editing to say: I simply emailed saying that the letter included some heavy sounding allegations and that students and alumni should be informed as to what he has done that violated these codes of ethics

Did I miss something? What did he do?

Spanberger's removal letter states "Your conduct has violated the Code of Conduct for Commonwealth Appointees to Boards, Authorities, & Commissions, the Virginia Tech Board of Visitors' Code of Ethics, and the governing statutes requiring board members to act in accordance with the best interests of Virginia Tech.

Welp that first period definitely answered the "Rust vs Rest" question. Even Rod said something like "I don't know what I just watched". Played great in the second, should have evened it up, but a few plays were off by a few inches. That hole they dug themselves into the first just ended up too big to crawl out of.

Maybe it's a good thing that they have finally hit a little adversity in the playoffs and this will wake them up and come out firing Saturday night. Can't afford to go down 0-2 then travel to Montreal.

I'd love to know which coach this was

Virginia Tech
"Look, I'm just gonna say what every coach in this damn league is thinking but too scared to admit publicly. Since James Franklin got to Virginia Tech, the whole balance of power in the ACC is screwed. They've got recruiting rolling, NIL money flowing, Lane Stadium turned back into a damn war zone, and now every kid from Virginia to Georgia thinks Blacksburg is the place to be. That program's got swagger again, and honestly? That's terrifying."

"You walk into Lane on a Thursday night now and it feels like the gates of hell opened up. Our assistants are sitting there watching film going, 'How the fuck are we supposed to stop this?' They're deep, physical, fast, and Franklin recruits like a man possessed. If the rest of us don't figure something out quick, Virginia Tech is gonna run this conference for the next decade and everybody else is just fighting for second place."
