To be fair, we really don't know. None of the candidates who are currently employed as a HC are going to announce they're moving on to a new school until after the season is over.
VT has Chesney as next in line if Frankin falls through.
We are definitely not Chesney's only potential suitor. Chesney is likely not going to make his decision based on Franklin's timeline.
If Sexton is still dragging this out for a better gig or more money, it's time to move on and get Chesney before he gets scooped up elsewhere
So 4...wouldnt call that often.
Guess it all depends on the person and the situation. If I'm HC, doing alright, not about to be fired, I'm not taking a job as a coordinator
But who knows where his head is at, maybe a few years into this HC gig he decides he likes being a coordinator better, we'll see
My thinking is if he isn't on the hot seat, Franklin really is there just to support him
(and maybe recruiting some players)
Is Rahne's job in jeopardy?
Do G5 HCs leave willingly to be a coordinator often?
