Give me this all day...
SIAP
Hokies picked up Ethan Copeland from Stetson yesterday. 6' 2" combo guard. 43% from three (109/254).
Hell yeah. A good running back will make such a difference. Think about our 2022 and 2025 offenses that didn't have Tuten, and then compare to our 2023 and 2024 offenses that did have him.
Yes lots of other guys were important, but it's tough to be a good offense without a good rb. Hell I feel like our 2020 offense was good primarily because we had Herbert.
Having a couple beasts will also mean we don't have to run them into the ground
I just threw up in my mouth a little bit
Thin room in 2027. We are short on fast guys. Two of the three can play other positions at a high level.
triple option?
Today's lineup of games:
- Duke / UVA @9am
- Stanford/Miami @1pm
- ND/VT @5pm
- Pitt/Wake @9pm
Pitt won 16-8. Plays Wake next at 9pm Wednesday.
Because of injury?
I feel like if this were the case though, we would have oh, a single commit from the class of '26 haha. Because couldn't we just point to him and say "he's the next guy"?
The RB roo we have now is actually full of ghosts. There are names, but no real bodies.
Oh we got him!

And half of the country transfers every year anyways so may as well stock up
Ladies and Gentlemen.... I watched some of this kid's film and let me say he is a DUDE.
He is shifty, explosive, quick, and fast. He is a patient runner who also runs with some strength. His team lines up in various formations so he's used seeing the field in multiple ways. And once he breaks loose, he is headed for the stables. On top of all that, he has a really good frame that appears able to carry another 15 lbs. His film puts off some serious RMFW vibes.
If he comes in, commits to the S&C program, and stays healthy he could be a VT great.
EDIT: One of the key things that makes him like RMFW is his explosiveness. When you watch his film and he's waiting for a little hole to open up... or when he decides to make a cut... Those initial 2-3 steps when he decides to go are explosive. That was one of the things that made RMFW so great.
night cap of Pitt and Louisville pushed back to 9:35 start time
ND wins 5-4. Hokies vs Irish tomorrow

With Fuente, the asterisk indicated another digit. We had like 32 RB commits
Because we a 2 healthy rbs right now

When we were at our best we rolled at least 2 high end RBs deep to rotate throughout games. And I mean that back to the early 2000s starting with Jones and Suggs (and I only say that because I forget if Suggs and Ox overlapped).
This is Franklin getting back to that. We're also adding high end recruits all over the field, so there isn't much to worry about in regards to roster construction. We're just going to be better.
