Not even sure he's that great of a DC. Think the talent he had at PSU made up for a lot of that at this point.

He's a good DC though.

He'll never get considered for a head job again, that's for sure

Thanks, told the wife that they just lost a bunch of money with the field storming, but she asked how much, and I was less than prepared.

I honestly hope Pry never gets anywhere near a HC job again. That man absolutely torpedoed this program and has no idea what he's doing. For us to be this bad and the team chemistry this embarrassing/a bunch of quitters, he should be shamed out of the coaching profession.

If the game has gone one more overtime the kids would've standing in the end zone. They need a barrier between the hill and the field. But there's a reason standing areas are outlawed in European soccer.

I don't know whether to be happy that free shoes lost or upset that uva won.

Either way it was definitely a good game and we are going to get stomped in the second half of our schedule between GT, FSU, Louisville, Miami, and unfortunately UVA.

I mean, fuck the hoos. But props where they're due, that was a good field rush.

1. There will be gates installed at the bottom of the Hill next year...the fans are absurdly close to the field and the FSU player in the endzone looks like he got trampled.

2. UVA now has a more relevant football program than VT.....well done, Brent.

I get it, it sucks. I'm not saying this system is good. But this is what happens when the ncaa (which is made of universities) refuses to acknowledge that the labor funding their multibillion dollar organization is actually labor.

Again, the nfl is allowed to limit free agency because they have an antitrust exemption. To get that protected legal status, they gave up a lot. They share a predetermined percentage of their revenue, the collectively bargain, etc.

On the one hand, I hate that UVA won. On the other hand, this does satisfy the principle of maximum Schadenfreude.

They may have killed the kid that either caught or blocked that last pass. He was flat on his back as those kids rushed the field right there

Castellanos had an open running lane all the way to end zone on the 3rd down

Regardless of how this turns out, I really appreciate the live audio from the ops center.
