Belichick cemented himself as the greatest coach of all time tonight.
Emotionally draining because I went in thinking we'd get routed. Then the defense looked shockingly competent compared to last year and we were in it. Then the gut punch of losing after realizing we had a good shot.
Giving it a day let me reflect and realize that this team could really make some noise going forward. Gotta have better QB play and WRs need to catch easy balls. If the defense keeps it up, I'm pretty optimistic about our potential to make a run. DLine was exciting. Holding that offense to 17 points? Last year's defense couldn't do that.
We'll see. On to Vandy!
Lopez getting hurt might be the best thing that happens to the tarholes this year. Johnson can sling it but can't run. Can the OL protect him against a team that isn't nursing a 30 point lead?

Personally, I think Pry is already at lame duck status. I don't know what his contract is tho. With NIL it's harder to fire coaches. We need that money to pay players now. Can't spend it on a coach to not coach.
After 2.5 Quarters, UNC is a basketball school once again...

From a pure personnel standpoint, VT is the superior squad.
But here's the rub:

The fact that we have to be somewhat surprised to be a home favorite vs. Vandy is stomach-turning...
