They lost a load of NFL talent after last season. It does take a minute for a team to gel. This is a good defensive unit, but not close to last years unit.

They went entirely unblocked because SCAR did enough scouting to realize they are a nonfactor.
My money is on them being closer to the FSU team Fuente dominated than a legit playoff contender

# | Virginia Tech vs #13 South Carolina Game Time, TV Info, and Open Thread Only thing I will say is keep in mind our offense is going up against a defense that was 16th nationally last season and got four 4/5 star transfers in for this season.
Also can't fault the OC because most of our drives ended on our guys mistakes
We are about to overcompensate and retrn yo the 10
The question is - is SC really a top-15 team? If so, we should beat a lot of other teams we have left to play. Especially if their QB really is projected #1 pick.
Does anybody know how good their defense is supposed to be? Is our offensive production a sign of poor coaching or player execution (there are a couple drops that look like the coaching call was good, just poor execution), or playing a very good defense, or something in between?
UVA SUCKS.

Yeah, I think that's the ball game. This offense is back to the Stiney era. And Drones shouldn't be starting. I have no idea what that group was doing all Spring and Fall, but whatever it was sure wasn't productive.
Were we really expecting anything else? Pry isn't it, end of story.
They have nine 4/5 stars on starting defense and five more on two deep
