Probably the last time that happens for a while

Wouldn't be shocked to start seeing 1st and 2nd day guys coming out of Tech as well

Pittsburgh who we beat twice last weekend. Sweeped UVA. That should give us a good RPI boost. This team still has a chance to make the Ncaa tournament. And idk how🤣🤣🤣

2022. They beat Louisville and Duke in late may before the ACC Tournament

soooo dry...we may be looking at another fire summer. yuck

I haven't swung a club for real since early October. First a leg muscle injury; then a hip issue (on the opposite side compensating for the muscle injury); then persistent A-fib and SVT issues.

Had cardiac ablation for both A-fib and SVT in late March. Hope to get back out on the course (and on the water) in late May...fingers crossed.

Win 5-4. Win the series. Only 2nd time they have won a series from NC State.

No idea last time Hokies have won back to back ACC series this late in the season.

Won 5-4 today to complete the sweep.

If you got your degree, you're a hokie, if you went to VT and want to be a hokie, you're a hokie, if you once committed to the Hokies and went some where else and got drafted, well there are no rules comeback snd play for us your a hokie if to want to be

Yeah, it's entirely subjective now. For me, it's hard to consider Delane a Hokie simply because he doesn't seem to think of himself as one.

This brings up something I've been bouncing around in my head now that we're fully into the transfer portal era; what constitutes identifying a player with your school? If they leave and go elsewhere, do you stop considering them Hokies? But what if a player plays 3 years for you and transfers vs a player who comes in for 1 year (more like 6 months) and goes pro? Is that player "more of a Hokie" simply because it was their last stop compared to the player who was with you for multiple years? Is graduating a requirement? I've seen some people say "well, at least *insert player* got a degree before they transferred so they are Hokies".

Not really a clear cut answer anymore. Feels like its a case to case basis now.

I didnt ask. The redo starts May 1, 9 holes at a time.

The club operations manager went to Radford for a year. She posts pics of the course occasionally. Wonder what they are converting the greens to...

Bryce Lance from NDSU was selected at 136 by the Saints. NDSU won't move up to the FBS until this season. So Lance is definitely an FCS player.

Henson loses in final 13-12 after several controversial scoring decisions go against him. Review went against him so instead of being up 8-7, he trailed 7-6. Had Lovett down, Lovett reestablished defensible position and then Henson put him on his back at end but only got the 4 points instead of 4+2.

Visiting daughter and SIL and celebrating wife's father's birthday in Melbourne, FL. Went to beach a couple days. Old beach fishing haunts which had exposed reef when I lived there are mostly covered w deposited sand. A real shame. Found some exposed reef in Indian Harbour Beach. Fished w live sand fleas, not really doing anything real serious. Water was beautiful w low enough visibility the fish couldn't see u.
Then a fishing 1st for me happened. Hooked an estimated 24" snook on a live sand flea. Brought him up onto the flat beach still in 3" of water and he came unhooked. Saw him clear as day. Pretty fish, nice yellow tail and black stripe. Swam back to grow up. Hooked a couple tailor blues on a M17 also. Nice day. Tight lines you all!

A hokie went in the first round. I don't care that his last year was at LSU.

Nothing wrong with having multiple careers. Thats not a generational thing to me, every generation has it. But trying to decide what you want to do without trying it seems to be a newer phenomenon to me, but thay could just be my world view and lack their of.
