Those dogs deserve a rest after averaging 8 mph.
I wasn't able to watch, every time I checked in the first half and to start the third quarter it looked close. What happened?
Agreed. When you see in the news that the starting qb at the University of Miami has had his Lambo, his Mercedes and his girlfriends Mercedes stolen something has gone really, really wrong with college athletics.
I feel like I'm taking crazy pills. I swear the majority of folks on this website have argued for years that Tech should institute a very minor cost for the Spring Game to generate even just a little revenue.
We've looked slow the entire game, like we're a step late on everything. Their FG% inside the arc in this game is abysmal. Really limped down the stretch. I wonder if part of that is due to the lack of depth.
Getting fucking smoked like a big cigar... enjoy the NIT
Welp, ladies taking a page from the men...letting GT rain 3s
Got out of meetings to turn it on mid 4th quarter... this is hideous
Too much Wenzel throwing the ball in the direction of the rim and not enough ANYONE else.
She is 0-9
This was obviously coming and is the reason as compared to Texas, schools like VT will probably retain a Spring Game at least for the near future. It's a revenue opportunity.
It has been a while since I have been but my memory is in the past that admission was free with a food donation.
We've gone from helping to feed the legitimately underprivileged to creating a slush fund for "underprivileged" athletes with private chefs, top-level training facilities, free higher education and no-cost tutoring.
Definitely feels like forward progress as a society.
Looks like Paige is enjoying her meal, but she's now dropped out of the lead, as Jessie Holmes made a 12m pitstop in Galena, dropping off one dog and headed on out. This is per the latest log at 1028 local (1428 EST), about 20m ago.

The refs are obviously watching a different game. Not sure I can watch this.
So is my interest in VT football, at more than just a cursory level.
Not sure how that is not a foul...
Start hitting the easy shots we missed in the first half and get Baker and Wenzel going on offense and we should be much better in the second.
Stuck in meetings the whole first half, glad we closed the gap into half
Really dislike that it is on ACC network, I could stream an ESPN game at work, but not ACC.
Bingo
You can tell the seniors want to keep playing. Rest are a bit of a mess. Micheaux and Ekh are 9 for 13. Rest of team are 5 for 20.
No one following their shots. Shooting 33% but not trying to rebound.
The meal consists of Alaska King Salmon Crudo with a lemon-thyme oil...
Had to google this.
Crudo is a dish of raw seafood or meat that's dressed with olive oil, citrus juice, and seasonings. The word crudo means "raw" in Italian and Spanish.

Today, when you stop clicking into the thread, bud.
And here is part of the article on Paige's award from the site:
"As the first musher to arrive in Galena, early on Thursday Morning, Paige Drobny receives the Feast on the Yukon Award. Top Chefs from Locally Grown Restaurants will prepare the gourmet meal at the checkpoint for Paige and her guests – Tim Bodony, checkpoint coordinator, along with other elders from the village.
The menu is amazing! Here's a copy paste from the Iditarod press release:
"The meal consists of Alaska King Salmon Crudo with a lemon-thyme oil, roasted butternut squash bisque, charred cabbage salad with candied walnuts, watermelon radish, carrot, onion, apple and a pear vinaigrette, followed by an entrée of braised beef cheek bourguignon, asparagus, rosemary mashed potatoes, sauteed mushroom and shallot leaves. To finish this incredible meal, Paige and her guest(s) will also be treated to a chocolate bourbon pot de créme dessert."
Well, last year the winner was just over 9 days and final finisher took the red lantern award in about 12.5 days. So, if the longer race course but without having to go over the mountains is about the same, looking at about 6+ days for the winner and 9.5 days for the last team to arrive given we are almost 3 days in from the real start.

was a 2 point game with 8.5 minutes left in the game... then it went 22-9 down the stretch
