We've already booked captain andy's based off of several recommendations, even though we are staying on the north shore. We'll make a day of it and drive around the island.
So we're going to win an ACC title *and* I can make a bunch of money off of it? Nice. 😎
I dont think SI had any credibility, but if they did it's now gone.
All depends on LB and OL. If there are talent upgrades (on OL) and coaching upgrades (on LB and OL) the this team will be fine, despite the talent lost in the secondary, at receiver, and at RB.
Can't wait to see how this plays out
I did Captain Andy's, and liked it overall, the boat was nice and the crew was friendly. Oh if you're going in the summertime, you might be able to get a boat tour that starts from the North shore in hanalei Bay, if you're staying near there that might be convenient. Apparently the water conditions are too rough in the winter, so I had to go to the south shore.
Eat heaping helpings of dog shit loluva...
That is all.
The thing is, Bob, it's not that I'm lazy, it's that I just don't care.

13-0

Actually, I think calling us a dark horse candidate to win the ACC is a stretch. But I don't think it's absurd to believe we could win 8 or 9 games.
We had at least 2 or 3 games last year that we should have won. Not could have won, that happens to every team. We had multiple games that it took something really improbable or controversial (duplicate numbers vs Vanderbilt, ref bias in Miami, etc.) for us to lose the game.
And it looks like our roster next season may be pretty similar, talent-wise, if not even a little bit of an improvement.
Winnable game for the Hokies!
Hokies!
Boy is that a cat nip click bait title targeting VT fans! Title calls us a "dark horse" and then the article goes on to point out that we are +3500 and that there are 8 teams with better odds than VT. So taken another way, those details say we have some of the worst odds and sports books rank VT in the bottom half of the ACC. After the 2024, I think I would much prefer the "disrespected underdog" role to the "dark horse" role.
Let's Go

After his first takedown it was incredible how he rolled the dude over for backpoints
Insert Groundhog Day gif here. Jeesh!
Mullen has just been straight bullying guys. Can't wait to watch him continue to develop.
Just straight disrespectful. 😅 I love it.
I think i've seen this one somewhere before...
While I've heard they're amazing (in general), I have an aversion to helicopters so no helicopter tours for us.
Avoid Pinochet's Helicopter Tours.
Just waiting on the NTSB to come up with the preliminary report but some early questions I have:
- why wasn't there a dedicated ATC for the helicopter or military aircraft?
- was the Black Hawk equipped with ACAS, and was it turned on?
This is fantastic. My honeymoon is this summer with a week in Kauai and a week on the Big Island. I'm stealing all these recommendations.
What boat tour did you use?

Definitely check out Waimea Canyon when you drive south (it'll make for a long day of that and napali coast tbh). If you want to learn about history of island etc there's a "Shaka guide" app driving tour that's pretty good. Capt Andy's is good and I think we've done blue dolphin which was also good. Highly recommend jojo's shaved ice when you drive through Waimea. Enjoy the trip! Probably my favorite place I've ever travelled.
