I'm a WEP payer so I was watching the Senate vote right before the CR!
James Franklin is such a clown. Going full ballistic on the sideline that his backup threw and interception up 5 scores.
PSU playing almost entire 4th Q with backup (who is really 3rd string) QB.
#goACC..
Maybe Jim Philips can call Jordan Travis and see if he can help..lol
Jennings is having a rough day, but his receivers have done nothing to help him out.
Exactly. That's the program we're talking about. I would personally take Cignetti at Tech in a heartbeat. There's no regret to this extension.
Yeah - good point, and I'm sure it impacts the entire DC area a lot more, and as you point out, the effects spread out from federal employees. Contractors may be let go depending on how long it would go, nobody spends any money to try to make sure they can pay things like rent and car payments, etc.
I think it means PJ is out for next year. So the stable would only be R-Fr Mason, R-So Coney, and true freshman Overton. Add Stewart and you're still a little shallow.
And nobody under him. No reason to miss it or hang on the rim...
It was directly in front of us which was cool to see all the St Joe's alum squirm.
I would think if he was going to choose Ferguson, he would have made that announcement already. Unless he's giving him through the bowl game to see how things go...?
It's hard on local businesses too though. During one shutdown when I worked at a restaurant in NOVA, we didn't have any business almost at all. The entire front of house staff was really struggling some people almost didn't make rent.
I noticed the same. Pretty clear he's not used to this kind of environment, and the neither are the coaches otherwise they would have had them better prepared.
Lee Corso once took a timeout in the first quarter against Ohio State for photo op.
His Hoosiers posed in front of the scoreboard because they were up 7-0 on the Buckeyes.
Tony Rojas is legit
I was kind of hoping for a Congressionally sponsored vacation, but also realize that's really hard on a lot of people. It's good they passed something. They still have to do something with the debt ceiling in early January though.
I forgot to get a picture of me, nerf and Frosty's Dad in our Courtside seats. Great experience to see a game at the polestra front row despite the loss.
I don't think the losingest team in FBS history is regretting extending their coach who won the most games in a single season in school history and brought them to the playoffs. Especially since that coach comes from the Saban tree and has never had a losing season as a head coach. His career record is 130-37. Guys who win for a long time at all different levels and calibers of schools win.
Tbh I thought he was out of eligibility
Lots of teams bring in outside noise to practice.
Not saying that would have changed the outcome here tremendously but Jennings has had his hands up to his ears repeatedly
hard to do either when you play in texas and your stadium seats 33 32k
edit: or 34k... wikipedia has no idea what the actual capacity is
Penn St. getting free Rusher off the edge whenever they want.
SMU doesn't look prepared for the cold or the noise.
Director of High School Relations. Played a big part in reconnecting Tech to alot of the Virginia High Schools. Will be an important spot to replace quickly.
I know he was going to have a role with his cousin but this would be a great spot to hire Dwight Vick to fill.
They kept getting sucked off the perimeter trying to give help defense in the paint and St Joes was great at finding the open shooter. Another reason I think this squad would be better off using zone defense.
They won by alot but the fouls and turnovers were pretty ugly. 21 personal fouls and 16 turnovers. Can't do that in ACC play and expect to win. Campbell just couldn't do anything with the ball.
I dont understand how every single team shoots lights out against us while it appears that our defense is really active.

I've seen a lot of people talking about Poindexter, but why no mention of Tom Allen? He's coached linebackers as well. One way or another, PSU has held SMU to 3 points and 129 yards of offense through 12 minutes remaining in the 4th quarter.
Looked up the stats on defenses and Penn State's is a top 10 defense, but we also need to recruit better to get similar results.
Edit: I probably should have said, in the vein of "defense wins championships" and "backing up the money truck" for someone, I'd hope we do pony up the cash that would make us competitive with just about any school (from a pay perspective). Producing a good defense here might be a good resume builder, and better than sharing DC with Poindexter say. And if talent can make up for scheme, at least to some extent, building a great defense here compared to a blue blood, especially if they could recruit here, seems like it could definitely be a resume builder, especially if an AD at a non-blue blood was considering a DC as a head coach. Like, can you really tell how good a recruiter someone is if all they have to say is, "we're always top 2 or 3 in our conference and in the hunt for playoffs and championships every year, we put tons of guys in the league, and, oh, by the way, here's an NiL check so big you might hurt your back carrying it out of the office."
