We need OL depth but at the same time OL that didn't get a lot of playing time with the OL roster we had this year probably wasn't going to cut it.

Hokies offered Kameron Olds as well.

He had been a PWO commit before deciding to go to Kent State.

Not sure it's likely he comes as he is getting interest from several SEC programs.

I was visiting my parents in Hilton Head for this game we went to a sports bar where they decided to have trivia but also bowl games on. There were a few groups of Hokies in there and we got asked more than once to be quiet because people couldn't hear the trivia.....never went back to that "sports" bar.

Malachi Thomas in. The RB room is fairly talented with young guys but Thomas seemed to improve every year.

and that road win against 7-5 BC is probably his best win ever. It's either that, or the win against 10-3 sunbelt team, Marshall. Those are his top two wins all time and they occurred in different seasons. So he's good for one 'good' win against a decent G5 team or a 7-win ACC team per season. Everything else is trash. To his credit, he beats up on most sub-0.500 teams but any time he runs into a team with a pulse it's almost certainly a loss

Can we compete financially with other leagues? OL are the hottest commodity in the portal. It is going to cost a fortune to keep him.

I'm totally fine staying far away from any running back player Justin Fuente recruited and signed. Any.

Saban also failed to cover himself in laurels for being unbiased as well, trotting out the same dumb things that got Greg Byrne a community note on Xitter.

(Saban and Byrne both wah-wah'd about having to play hard OOCs and maybe they just would take their ball and not do that anymore when the issue was the three in-conference losses and the Alabama OOC had only one P4 FBS team on it, at sub 0.500 Wisconsin)
