Thanks for catching that. When he sheds and comes across it looks like the second number is a 0. But you are correct. That is Walker. He has played at an All-ACC level as well, although it seemed like he got fewer reps than Tim Settle on Saturday.
On of the storylines for next year will be looking at Jarrod Hewitt to see if he and Sobczak can play at the same level as Walker-Settle this season.

I read somewhere that ford is fine that if the conditions weren't so bad or if the game was closer he would be back in.
If the secondary covers well, we should handle Syracuse. They run Tulsa's offense. I don't think their OL and running game is as good as Tulsa, and their defense is about the same.

# | Fresh Off Facing UNC's Spread, Syracuse Presents Another Test for Virginia Tech's Pass Defense I'm hoping that VT can dominate with a vanilla O. Doing so gives Miami less video to use for prep. They certainly can't use video from UNC game, unless we're getting another hurricane, in 2 weeks. Prior to that Fuente/Corny changed up the O a bit every week, so BC and ECU probably aren't great prep videos either.
The third clip (clip17) is 98 Ricky Walker, not Woody Baron, which just shows how interchangeable and deep/effective our DT group is right now. Just making sure kid gets his credit where its due, because he is probably the least talked about and has a solid motor and just doesn't quit on plays.
I'll tell you a sound I won't forget... the hit Stroman had on Switzer to break up the touchdown in the endzone.
