PBR's?? Never thought I would see that. That was the beverage of choice as I was growing up in Greenville, SC.

That picture of Juice...

He's fine
Bud has seemed more relaxed and happy. While I am sure some of that is the offense, I think it really stems from the confidence he has in an experienced group of talented players who line up and execute the way they are supposed to. Against North Carolina last seasons, simple alignment busts resulted in at least two UNC touchdowns, and seniors were responsible for the busts. This season, guys are lining up right, buying into the system and playing their assignments. And, they are winning one on one match ups and making plays, which makes it much easier to stunt and blitz.
By-the-by, you (in fact ALL NC TKPers and Hokies) should check out my postgame toast to y'all and encouragement of trolling tar "fans" right here. Much happy trolling!
My wife said we better kick a field goal. Her poor mind has been controlled from the past. I said we are going for it. She fainted. We score and look at each other and "Whoa, this IS different!"
Bud's having more fun this year because he finally gets to pair his defense with an offense that isn't pooping on its shoes with alarming regularity.

Bud's eyes.... the man is intense.
And I was when Bobby Stevens and Dale Solomon and that crew were there. And it was fun watching Don Strock sling the rock.
Edit: For some reason (age?) I couldn't remember Alan Bristow's name when I posted this. Saw his face, his mop of hair, but...
Some real interesting stuff going on there. Seemed like we had
someone there every time someone got the ball.
I was working on a ship underway last month and an ensign on there is a Hokie (not a graduate, he actually went elsewhere) but his brother and sister go there. He's fully dipped though. It definitely makes being out at sea much better when you have someone to relate to on that at home level.
yes.
"As great as Foster is at what he does, I don't see the Tar Heels slowing down much offensively"
By the end of the season the reviews will just be gifs of uncontrollable giggling
*pink Miata....

# | Fresh Off Facing UNC's Spread, Syracuse Presents Another Test for Virginia Tech's Pass Defense The VT defense is perfectly built for a scheme like Syracuse's. A 4-2-5 with essentially five cornerbacks in the secondary and a front line capable of stopping the run and moving the QB from his spot with just a 4 man - or even a 3 man rush.
Match-ups are everything in football and I see this as a very good match-up on both sides of the football for VT and a very bad match-up on both sides of the football for Syracuse.
I am much more concerned about the match-ups with Miami.
You guys might run out of positive things to say about this team before the year is over. What a change from the last 4 years.
Just what I needed on a chilly Tuesday morning. Thanks French! BTW, any word on Settle's injury?
I learned a secret, eat the young version of the mascot prior to the game, grilled lamb kebab's for the win. Where can I find fresh butchered Ibis?
This, this, this... So we ran on something like 75% of our plays... and our running game is our weak spot!
After reading French's article, the weather certainly didn't help our 5 defenders in the box stop rushing attacks with 6 blockers and the runner. UNCheat was flat out beat at the LOS. Which let Bud continue bracketing Switzer and #13.
I'm still recovering from the time he gave me the stare down when I tripped over his foot at a basketball game Sophomore year. It's been 12 years of therapy to get to accept that the night terrors will last for life.

Those are awesome, thanks.
