Got back from the game about an hour and a half ago. What a game! Rain was not nearly as bad as I was expecting. Pairing a semi-efficient offense with a vintage Bud Foster defense was great to see. But don't worry about the Heels they started advertising for "Late Night with Roy" halfway through the second quarter...
And we still left a ton of plays and points out on the field. We still haven't had a game where everything just goes our way. It'll happen, and some poor team is gonna watch the scoreboard just explode on em.
Trubisky needed to dial back the volume like Evans did. It would be damn near impossible for anybody to catch anything he threw that was in the air more than about 8 yards.
However the VT also had a little something to do with that - good coverage and good closing speed caused him to think he had to zip everything.

[laugh's playfully and pulls on TKP's sleeve]

He was walking on it - albeit a little gingerly - after the game when all of the players greeted the crowd. He could have disappeared to the locker room and not come out and walk the entire distance of the sideline, but he didn't.

Thank you..it is so awesome to be part of this site during the game and after a win. That was freakin awesome. The short week for Miami worries me but if we can make that happen..Orlando here we come. And I'll be pissed because I live in Charlotte.

Did you see the Snapchat after the game. Timmy was walking around cutting up. That whole scen with Fuente tipping his cap to the water logged, hard core loyal, Hokie fans was good to see. I dig it man.

I could not have picked a better time to go to my first away, that was freaking awesome! I was soaked head to toe and chilled to the bone but it was all worth it. Stroman was a straight up baller today I have never seen such good play from him in the secondary and those picks by him and Motu were epic. Evans was a baby blue bulldozer all day. I wish Isaiah had caught the ball in the endzone to tie the touchdown record because it literally happen right in front of the seats I had. Overall great experience and my friends and I are already talking about coming back for the 2018 game. ALL ABOARD THE HOKIE HYPE TRAIN!
