I've noticed a lot of fan bases are quick to disparage their own players in a loss. It's sad. It's simple minded pack mentality because it's easy to blame the kids. And if we aren't a good team then they must be god awful because we just took them to the woodshed. 31 points is a massive margin regardless of weather. Also, who gives a damn what they think? They are UNC. They shouldn't be good at football ever. They are irrelevant in my eyes.

Still getting no respect. Over on the Carolina websites, lots of comments blaming the weather, and saying they beat themselves because "VT isn't a good team". They are tearing their own players apart. Its pretty ugly. Don't think I've ever seen postings on TKP ripping apart the kids like that.
Eh, both FSU and Miami are top-25 good. Athletes all over the field, above average QB play, decent D.
That hasn't stopped ESPN from proclaiming they are back for about 8 years running.

Once again, I disagree with a targeting call. They couldn't overturn it because it was a "grey" area hit. Then stop doing guilty until proven innocent with the call. However, Miami fans being Miami fans, are pelting the field with garbage. lol

I think that it was targeting. To me, it looked like the defender's shoulder went into the chin of the WR. He didn't have to go in that high, which is essentially the point of the rule.
